Hello, and welcome to this week’s Patreon Newsletter (now in text post format)! This is to keep patrons up-to-date with the goings-on of OBT with schedules, behind-the-scenes, and more! These will be posted on a bi-weekly schedule and help give an idea of what’s to come each month for my Patreon.

Hey wow, what a way for me to rev up and then immediately die since the last newsletter, huh? Well fortunately for all of you, I’ve been putting together a proper Patreon schedule and buffer, so there’s lots of content to come this month! Let’s go through each feature, shall we?

Starting off with general content, I intend to catch up on missed content to make up for past months. As with previous catch ups, if you plan to not be a patron in the future when this catchup content is being released, please feel free to reach out to me via PM and I’ll provide a resource where you can view the catchup content all at once. I also wanted to announce that for most of May, I will be away from my workspace (I’ve been constructing a new office and preparing to help my partner move across states). This means most content being released is on an automated schedule (with some exceptions, such as pages). Unfortunately this also means that some content will likely not arrive during the month of May- namely physical goods such as postcards. These will likely be delayed until June for delivery, though rest assured that they will be caught up on at some point!

I also wanted to announce the yearly release of previous Patreon-only content for public viewing. In the past this usually means postcards and other exclusive art, and this year is no different, with the inclusion of 2020 phone/desktop backgrounds. You can expect these pieces to show up on Twitter and Deviantart once they’ve been fully posted here (which will be around the end of the month and early June).

To make things much easier on myself, I have written checks notes over 80 Trivia Tuesday facts over the past two weeks! My goal is to get a year-long buffer for these so that during Patreon dry spells where I’m busy irl, there’s still something to check in on every week. I also aim to automate other rewards in a similar fashion (Backstage Passes, WIP Wednesdays, misc. art), though for now trivia has been my focus. Currently there are 25 trivias for catchup, so I’ll be posting one a day (except for weekends) until we’re caught up. By June 11th they’ll return to their normal weekly Tuesday schedule!

Desktop/phone background catchup is also on my agenda for this month! For some reason or another I’ve been making them but just haven’t been posting them- so for the time being, I’ll be posting them on Mon/Wed until we’re caught up with May’s background on the normal schedule of the 3rd Monday of the month.

Admittedly for Backstage Passes, I’ve gotten a bit wound up in the math involved for how many to catch up on, so I’m just gonna call it an even 25. Similar to the trivia, these will be posted until June 11th after which they’ll return to their biweekly Monday updates starting on June 14th.

WIP Wednesdays were announced in a previous newsletter, and are now something I will be actually posting! As much as I would love to post catchup for these, they’re a bit time-sensitive in that it’s hard to post WIPs for something that has already been completed.

Postcards are a little in flux right now. After struggling with damaged, off color, and missing postcards from my online supplier, I’ve decided to look into printing my own postcards at home so I can more readily ensure their quality. While this means an initial delay in getting them out (I need to complete construction of my new office and make an informed decision on printer options first), once I have everything set up I should be able to have postcards mailed on the 5th of each month- rather than merely ordered.

New buffer pages for OBT are currently in the works, though it’s unlikely there will be a full 10 page Patreon buffer until June once I’ve settled down and completed construction on my home. In the meantime I do have the goal of keeping up on usual Tues/Thurs updates, but it’s unlikely I’ll be able to crank out more in the meantime.

And finally, livestreams are on hold for the month of May due to previously mentioned moving and construction, but I plan to hold at least once-monthly gaming streams starting June for Patrons! Depending on how well I settle in I may make them weekly, but I want to get into my new living situation routine first before promising anything. And with all that out of the way, here’s the content release schedule up until next newsletter!
