“I can’t believe we’re going to be an exploration team! Kind of. Testing to be a team.” He grins at her, but Rune's focus is elsewhere. “Hey, you don’t mind this, do you? I guess I… Didn’t even ask…” She looks up to give him a gentle smile before getting lost in thought again. “You have a lot to process, huh.” He looks at the ground. “I know everyone there is convinced you’re from Treeshroud, but it’s weird that you ended up in the ocean, all the way from the other side of the region.” He pauses. “Do you think you’re from Treeshroud?” Rune concentrates on the ground, and slowly shakes her head with a shrug. She hardly even knows what she is, much less where she could have possibly come from. She strains her memory, but the only thing that she can remember is the complete stillness of the crisp, clear water around her, bubbles drifting towards the unbroken surface.
