As some of you may have noticed, I've more or less vanished from the internet for the past two months. I usually do that whenever I'm busy and I'm a very infrequent social media user even when I'm not. In any case, here's a quick summary of what I've been up to.

First of all, I've had this idea for a video about the future of virtual reality for more than a year now but I can never seem to get it right. After completing The Battle of Los Angeles, I spent the next month and a half trying to complete this godforsaken video once and for all. I got a lot further along this time around and even made a short intro animation.

In the end, however, it was little more than a 20 minute video of me saying "Hey, isn't virtual reality great?" in so many words. Even though I disliked it, I was really tempted to release it because of how long it had been since the last video. Ultimately, I decided against it and began working on something else.

So for the past few weeks I've been working on an entirely new video about space and life beyond the Earth. It's a topic I've wanted to cover for a very long time. I'll probably end up using a few paragraphs from the scrapped virtual reality video so, hey, at least it wasn't a complete waste of time! I'm still finishing up the script but I intend to have it released before the end of the month.

Second of all, I've been working on that Solar System documentary I've mentioned before. Unfortunately, I realized pretty quickly that I won't be able to complete it before the end of the year. It's quite a large project of nine videos so it's going to take some time. Nevertheless, it's coming along nicely and I'll try and keep you updated.

Third of all, I'm not sure what to do about the annual end-of-the-year video. The regular "Top 10 Facts" formula always seemed ill-suited for these year-in-review videos so I'd like to make something a bit different for 2018. Perhaps I'll cover some of the major events of each month instead, I don't know. I welcome any ideas you might have.

I believe that's everything for now. As always, thanks for your continued support.

I appreciate that you would rather release a good video rather than a timely one. It just shows how much of an experienced creator you are. It’s always better to have a great video than to have a shoddy one that even the creator dislikes.

I absolutely love the amount of effort you put into these video’s. Even though the inner me wants a video now, just to hear your godly voice. I agree that quality over quantity. Love your work x

Just another Top 10 facts video sounds nice to me , if you are going to do a different type of video for annual video that's also fine. Anyway thanks for the update , haven't heard form you for a while so it's good to know everything is still alright , looking forward those videos.

Thanks for the update! Really looking forward to your new exiting projects. Amazing work man!

Just cover the most important things in the year and take the extra time to explain is significance. If nothing significant happened in a year then it should be a short video. I'd love to hear more about things on other countries as well

As far as the 2018 video I’d suggest one bit over the Pewdiepie VS T series battle. That’s definitely been a big event this year along with video games. There’s a lot to discuss there also.

Never worry about how long it takes for you to produce content, we don't mind if it takes 6 days or 6 months, it's worth it, because your content is worth it

Well you kept your promise and released it before the end of the month! I'm really looking forward to the Solar System Documentary aswell, no matter how long it'll take.

My recommendation for this year's year review is to list down interesting/impactful events of each month. Not only would it be easier but hey we also get 2 more haha. Id love to see what will be featured in the video and remember, Quality>Quantity !
