Patrons: As you may have heard recently, I just got back from Vegas where I played in a poker tournament and also got to catch U2's Achtung Baby show at the Sphere. I'm still in the process of putting together a video about my Sphere experience.

In the meantime, during my visit I was able to (unobtrusively) capture a bunch of footage of the show in fairly decent audio/video quality. In the above video, I've stitched together a bunch of raw clips that I took. I know it's not possible for everyone to get to visit the Sphere, so my hope is this will just be able to give you a taste of what it was like to experience this show in person. I hope you find it as fascinating as I did.

NOTE: I think this footage is pretty decent for stuff shot at a concert but it doesn't come close to really conveying the vast grandeur and scale of the Sphere. Also: this is obvious, but if you plan to see the show yourself, please know that this video contains spoilers for the visuals from the show.

Thanks for this! Impressive steadiness for handheld. This was shot on phone yes? Just curious do they allow DSLRs? For the landscape scenery, how convincing was it that you were outdoors?

Shot on DJI Osmo pocket 3. No DSLRs or bags allowed in venue. And also: everything was extremely convincing, including outdoors stuff

I cried just watching this video. I cannot imagine actually being there. Incredible.
