In this bonus audio, @joyonapping and I discuss the 6th episode of Better Call Saul season 6, "Axe and Grind." Kim makes a fateful decision. But is it a plausible one? Let us know what you think in the comments. Thanks, as always, for your support.

Theory time: We know Gus' hole in the ground is eventually used as a meth lab, but I wonder if it is intended to be used as a vault for valuables. Maybe Lalo is planning on stealing whatever gets stored there and using it to break free from everybody since, as Kim told him, he has nobody he can trust (except maybe Kim.........)

I appreciate these discussions! I agree the week to week has felt especially frustrating this season. I'm finding it difficult to stay invested in these characters and understand what is even going on anymore. It also feels like the show starting to suffer from prequelitis. For that reason, I didn't even think about whether Kim's decision at the end was plausible or not - it just felt like I was being told the next plot point because of course that was supposed to happen. Either way, looking forward to the "mid-season finale!" and your thoughts on it!
