I haven't been doing TV recaps per se but I had to make an exception for this week's episode of WandaVision (Ep 5, "On a Very Special Episode...").

Shit goes down in this episode that has potentially wide-ranging implications for the entire MCU (and other cinematic universes of undetermined origin).

I was grateful that my buddy Dan Gvozden from the Amazing Spider-Talk podcast joined me for a geek-heavy 45-minute discussion about the episode, what it might mean, our biggest theories, and what we are most looking forward to for the rest of the show. You can check it out above.

[Assume SPOILERS in the video and the comments for those who haven't seen it yet.]

I wrote after watching the first two episodes that I had a feeling WandaVision could be Marvel’s version of The Mandalorian season 2. Where a lot of Mandalorian was about setting up the future of Star Wars and all of the future shows coming to Disney Plus (Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic), this could be setting up the future of the Marvel universe. As you two discussed this could be how we set up the multiverse, how mutants are introduced, Monica’s power, possibly even an explanation for the Fantastic Four.
