My frequent podcast collaborator Joanna Robinson and I are going to try recording some Patreon-exclusive podcast episodes just to talk about what's on our minds. This week, we discuss what it was like to witness a coup(?) attempt in the US, plus thoughts on the first few episodes of WandaVision.

I'm with Joanna on this one. Trinidad endured a coup attempt in 1990. That was not triggered by any state or military actors. But you'll never hear a Trinidadian call it anything other than a coup. To me the only thing that can challenge whether it's a coup is the level of organization. But even now it's coming out how maybe possibly (not full evidence yet) that these militia groups were focused and very organized and almost using the mob as a cover. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaat_al_Muslimeen_coup_attempt
