Yep, it's here, v1.60. This is the Supporter Preview, and I'd really appreciate it if you kick the tires on this a bit. This is the last major version I'm planning to release of Just a Bite, so if there's any issues you run into, I'd like to hear about them as soon as I can. In particular:

  • Do Index controllers still have significant issues?
  • Is performance noticeably worse from before?
-Some elements like the glass material on windows (Daytime) were swapped out, a patterning was added to the TV, and the Caustics effect in the bathtub was reintroduced. Do these cause noticeable hitching when looked at?
-Desktop view was improved, primarily for the simulator, but may possibly decrease performance. Do you notice either version running consistently worse?
  • Is anything out of place or noticeably broken? Some elements have quirks, but I'm talking about uncontrollable physics nightmares, unpleasant user experiences, etc.
-I know picking up the Kobold is still kind of weird. I basically need to rebuild the poor thing to get it working right, which isn't likely to happen for Just a Bite. I was a fool to use Unity's built-in Character Controller.

I'm testing on newer hardware now, so I can't trust my PC to be "baseline VR" as I could before. So I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think and find before I release this to the wider world.
