NOTE: I've managed to get a decent amount of plotting done (at least for the next 8 to 10 chapters I think), and hopefully I'll be taking this story in some directions you aren't expecting (not necessarily with the content of this particular chapter, but for future chapters).

Hope you enjoy!

FEEDBACK: Thoughts? Obviously this chapter was pretty straight forward with the plot, but things will hopefully get very interesting in the next few chapters.

Thoughts on the whole 'Poor Man's Focus Ritual' thing? (Was it explained well enough to be believable, especially the reason why it wasn't common and why it might be considered undesirable to most? etc.)

Christopher Miller

Just wondering why wouldn't Allie be able to perform a focus ritual on his own the normal way instead of paying someone else to do it? I thought as an essence diviner he was capable of performing focus rituals himself, but chose not to because of the attention it would bring him? His being able to discern a person's skills, focus and class and then help them find out how to properly use (unlocking them) is what Allie basically just did. Why can't he personally take it one step further to fully unlock Blake's focus by himself?

Maybe you can help me figure out how I clarify better, but there is a difference between seeing skills and stats, such as seeing that someone is 39 out of 40 total points, -- versus -- being able to actually cause someone's limits to be broken so that they are now 39/50 (instead of 39/40) and can go up an additional 10 levels in their stats.

Minor typo: someone who was potentially going to give into a crazy request. (...give in to...)
