- CHAPTER 109: Facade -

I was honestly baffled.

Just completely dumbfounded.

Of course, I’d already begun to suspect my true origins, but only now was I beginning to realize that I’d quite literally been the designer of my own fate. That I’d once been alive and cursed for thousands of years, spending my entire existence making preparations to find a way to break my curse and reunite with the two women I loved, who had similarly been cursed as succubi for eternity.

It was all real.

It was all true.

Because, even if I didn’t have any recollection of specific memories, I did have knowledge I shouldn’t otherwise know. I knew spells that were truly my own, coming to my mind as I had need, with me wielding power far beyond what should be possible for someone so young. And then, there was what I knew about Delilah, the black-haired blue-eyed succubus who I’d stumbled upon when meeting my biological father for the first time.

Her given name had been Jericho, because her father wanted a son.

And he treated her like a son, for most of her early life, until he passed away from disease, and she and her mother were thrust into a new family with a new step-father, a man who at least treated Delilah right, but who also had grudges against quite a few other families. Including a grudge against the family of the boy she loved.

Like an original Romeo and Juliet, so had been their life…

Or rather, so had been our life.

And if there had been any good that came from her situation, it was that the passing of her father resulted in her being able to decide on a new name, becoming known as Abigail instead of Jericho, something that happened just before she became friends with Miriam. However, there was more information I knew as well.

Abigail’s wish to share me with Miriam stemmed from more than a desire to share a man, even if that was certainly a part of it.

Originally, it was a means for us to spend time together.

Because, outwardly I had been pursuing Miriam, since I’d been forbidden to pursue Abigail, and due to the fact that they were best friends, it gave the three of us an excuse to spend time together publicly, without it sparking rumors. Though when we were all alone, we certainly did plenty to create an uproar, if it were ever discovered.

That was all stuff I knew.

Just facts.

But none of which I could actually remember.

I had no memories of spending time with either of them long ago. I was no more familiar with this history than I would have been if I’d studied it in a history book, even if I knew the facts.

And at this point, since a part of my original curse had been to live a life of loneliness and emptiness, resulting even in people forgetting my original face and name, we really had nothing further to go off of, aside from the message on the stone left by the woman who served as the surrogate for this new life I now lived.

Shit, this was crazy.

Crazy, but undeniably true.

Which meant, my next step probably needed to be finding this woman named Eve, with the only problem being that I honestly had no idea how to do so. As far as I could tell, there had been no indication in the message or otherwise about where she was located, leaving me scratching my head in confusion as to how I might track her down. I knew she claimed to be keeping watch over both Delilah and Miriam, at least indirectly, but even that wasn’t enough to go on.

At the moment, we were all in the dining hall having a late dinner after everything that happened, with Miriam surprisingly composed despite everything we’d gone through and discovered, sitting across from me as usual -- though neglecting to so much as glance away from me for even a full second -- whereas Delilah was decisively not composed.

Not that she was crying or anything.

She was just sitting in my lap, insisting that I keep one arm wrapped around her small waist at all times, while digging into her food cheerfully to satisfy her intense hunger that stemmed from regrowing her wings, and occasionally insisting that I take a bite of something she offered.

Not taking ‘no’ for an answer, and making a scene when I did first try to decline.

Damn, she was so eccentric, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she’d always been that way, sincerely not having any recollection of what their personalities had been like when they were human.

From my bonds with everyone, I knew that they were all perfectly fine with her behavior for now, but that several of my women had been considering mentioning that Delilah was going to have to share a little, only planning on actually speaking up if she kept up all the attention hogging…

Which eventually, sort of got picked up by her…

Since I now had that same connection with both Delilah and Miriam, as I did with all my other women.

“Oh! I’m sorry,” she exclaimed to the whole table, looking around, sounding overly sincere. “Don’t worry, I’ll share. In fact, I really love sharing. For pretty much all my life, I’ve always had sex with at least two people at a time. Often three or four, or however many I could get to join in. Men and women. It’s always so much fun having sex as a group. And, oh my God, all of you are so pretty. Maybe we can all have sex together after I’m finished eating.”

“Delilah,” Miriam said gently, from across the table. “Please try to control yourself a little.”

The short succubus seemed stunned, shifting her weight on my lap. “What’s wrong with what I said? Our man is an incubus now, right? And he’s low on magic, right? And everyone here is with him, right? There’s not much else to do for the rest of the day, so shouldn’t we all just have sex until we pass out? I mean, we’ve got almost four hours until it’s midnight, and honestly I don’t think I’ll even be tired by then, so I’ll probably want to just fuck until I can’t fuck any longer.”

Miriam groaned, resting her forehead on one hand, her elbow on the table. “It’s like you’re both completely different and exactly the same, at the same time.”

“Uh!” she exclaimed. “What’s that supposed to mean?” She then pouted. “It’s been three-thousand years! Of course I’m going to be different. But seriously, how am I different? Please tell me.”

“Kind of curious too,” I admitted, having no idea what she used to be like.

Miriam sighed. “Well, little miss princess here is just as eccentric as ever, but I suppose her personality is also a bit more…modern.”

I laughed at that, knowing what she was implying.

Delilah immediately gawked at me, only to humph and turn her head away, her weight feeling like it was increasing on my lap, her wings tensing against my chest. “I am not a chatty blonde ditz!” she exclaimed. “For one, I have black hair, thank you. And yes, this is my natural color, thanks for asking. And sure, maybe I have a lot of words, but there’s nothing wrong with being expressive! I have a lot of things to say!”

Miriam sighed. “I suppose I actually know what the difference is,” she admitted.

That drew Delilah up short, her tone a sort of innocent concern. “And what’s that?”

Miriam frowned. “Well, back when I knew you, there was a lot of stress in your life. And a lot of expectations about how you were supposed to act. Certainly, we broke the rules and social norms a lot, but I think this version of you is what you’re really like, when there’s not a whip waiting to strike you the moment you get out of line.”

Instantly, all at once, Delilah’s erotic aura shifted from being cheerful and curious, to instantly becoming somber and serious.

And Miriam picked up on it right away.

“Oh, moon, I’m sorry. I wasn’t trying to bring your mood down.”

For a second, I was confused about the nickname, only to realize it was originally one from a different language, their original language, and was a term of endearment.

Delilah slowly took a bite of her food, chewing for a few seconds, before swallowing and responding. “No, you’re probably right,” she admitted somberly. “I’ve had the luxury of being able to live how I want for a long time now. Not at all like how it was when we were much younger.” She then took a deep breath, glancing around at the table. “I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be a drama queen.” She focused on Miriam. “Just being with you again keeps bringing up really bad memories. Not that I don’t want to be around you!” she quickly added. “Oh God, I’m so happy right now, I feel like I want to scream, dance, and cry all at the same time.” She then sighed heavily, her shoulders rising high, followed by her slumping on my lap. She then folded her wings more tightly and leaned into me, tilting her head back and to the side as she reached up to grab my face. “And boy, I still can’t believe you’re even real right now. Not only am I crazy about you, but you’re my long-lost love! I’m still struggling to even believe this is real, and not a dream or heaven.” She squeezed my cheeks together to make my mouth stick out a little, before giggling and letting go, only to promptly grab my free arm and wrap that one around her too, snuggling against my chest. “But you really are real, aren’t you? Oh so very real,” she moaned…only to abruptly focus on Miriam, sounding almost demanding now. “So why again are we not fucking all night? Our love is right here with us! And there’s all these hot women too! Why aren’t we fucking already?!”

Miriam dropped her head so abruptly into her hands that she practically slapped herself in the face. “Oh my God, who even are you anymore? I’m not sure if I want to hug you or slap you right now.”

Natalie barked out a laugh from directly to my left.

“Uh!” Delilah exclaimed. “How rude!” Her tone became seductive. “Although, I’m kind of into slapping, so if you want to slap me a little, while we fuck, I’d be up for it. Oh man, okay I’m kind of turned on right now, so maybe we can just all fuck now on the table and then finish dinner later?”

Michelle finally spoke up, sitting between Rebecca and Avery on the other side of the table, my blonde MILF’s tone extremely sympathetic.

“Sweetie, I know you really want to help our handsome young man recharge his magic, but most of us would like to get to know you better before having sex.”

Shockingly, Delilah’s shoulders dropped at that, her tone somber.

“Is…Is it really that obvious?” she managed with a grimace, her expression becoming intensely pained as she began to sound emotional. “But I mean, what else can I even do for him right now?” she barely got out, before unexpectedly sobbing, falling apart without warning, with her reaching up to cover her eyes as her voice became a sincerely tormented whine. “I told that fucking bastard everything, and betrayed the one person I care about most in the whole world, and I…” She sobbed again, beginning to shake her head back and forth in her hands, continuing to fall apart until she could no longer speak.

Just like that, she was crying violently in my arms, beyond coherent words.

Fuck.

No, it hadn’t been obvious.

Even while being able to see into Delilah’s head, I had no idea this was why she was acting like this.

But now I could feel it.

Outwardly, she’d been trying to seem like she was happy, cheerful, and wanted to seek out pleasure for her own desires. Almost making her requests seem like they stemmed from pure selfishness…

But inwardly, she was overwhelmed with guilt, among many other negative emotions, and actually just doing her best to keep it together.

“Fuck, I’m sorry,” she finally whimpered. “I’m fine. Just got something in my eye or something. But I’m fine…” She sobbed again as I held her tighter, finally turning into my chest as she sobbed again. “I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine,” she whined, trying to tell herself to be fine, only to hold her breath as another intense wave of emotion washed over her, causing her face to turn red as her body began to become wracked with intense sobs she refused to let out. Until she finally gasped for breath. “I’m fine,” she whined again…

But she wasn’t saying it for our sake…

She wasn’t trying to lie to us right now.

She was truly trying to tell herself to be fine.

I held her even tighter as she cried, closing my eyes as I felt her warmth in my arms.

Then, without thinking, I opened my mouth and began speaking.

Words that I didn’t even understand, but that somehow felt familiar to me.

Words that quickly began to take on their own cadence…until I realized I was actually singing softly.

Singing a lullaby in another language.

Adonai roh-ee loh…” I began, continuing to speak without a thought, simply falling into an almost trance as I followed the melody I felt deep inside, dredged up from deep within, knowing it was working when Delilah became quiet and still, not a single person speaking even after I reached the end.

When no one said anything, I finally opened my eyes, seeing that Miriam was just stunned.

“Do you know what you just sang?” she wondered, already seeing in my head that I hadn’t a clue, prompting her to continue. “That was Psalm 23, the Lord is my Shepherd, in Hebrew.”

Delilah sniffled. “It was a fairly new song when we were human. You sang it to me a few times just like that.” She sniffled again. “Oh my God, you’re really him. You really are him. My love from back then.”

My brow furrowed at that, feeling confused. “Wait, a part of the bible was a ‘new song’ three-thousand years ago?”

“It was,” Miriam replied, only to pout playfully. “Although, I don’t remember you ever singing it to me. Kind of feel left out now.”

I smirked, wanting to tease her. “Well, apparently I was only with you to be with Delilah here, so that’s probably why.”

“Uh!” Miriam exclaimed, abruptly standing up. “Alright mister, you’re going to pay for that! I think we will take you upstairs and fuck your brains out!”

I smirked, but made no effort to move, even though I knew she was kind of serious.

I then sighed when everyone realized what was on my mind, deciding to vocalize it.

“Umm, I actually don’t really want to have sex right now,” I admitted.

Which of course left them all speechless.

I continued, wanting to explain myself. “I realize I’m almost dangerously low on magic, and of course I’m well aware that it would feel good to have sex, but I kind of…just need this right now. I want to be with everyone, to just enjoy everyone’s love and attention.” I sighed. “Today was…really rough. Things happened that can’t be undone. And while I know I wouldn’t have chosen any different, not in a million years, I still feel like I’m teetering on the edge of a cliff a little…”

I paused, taking a moment to look at everyone, starting with Natalie on my left, followed by Serenity, and then Gabriella, only to look across the table and focus on Avery, Michelle, Mrs. Rebecca, with Miriam in front of me, followed by Gwen and Elizabeth.

Rosa was then directly to my right on my other side.

With Delilah in my lap, that was eleven women sitting around me.

I continued. “This might not be what my body needs, but it is what my soul needs. The opposite of what my curse had once been.” I grimaced. “Part of me feels like I should be handling all this better, especially if I really am three-thousand years old, but…” My voice trailed off.

Miriam shook her head, her tone gentle. “No, my love. I think I can speak for everyone by saying that, even if you eventually come to remember all that’s happened since then, we wouldn’t think poorly of you for being shaken up by something like this. And honestly, I think it’s pretty clear that, whether intentional or not, you’re basically a blank slate. You’re still an innocent eighteen-year-old young man, which is a blessing, if anything.” She grimaced, reaching toward me on the table, as if she wanted me to take her hand, though she was too far away to comfortably do so. “I’m actually thankful you’re not cursed with those memories. Memories of being alone for so long.”

Serenity nodded, leaning forward to focus on me past Natalie. “I fully agree. This doesn’t change anything for me. You’re still the boy I grew up with, and as far as I can tell, you’re still the same ‘Kai’ I’ve always known, even despite everything. If anything, this just explains why you’ve always been so mature for your age.”

I sighed. “Thanks,” I said sincerely, only to focus on Miriam. “So then, maybe that means I really am the same? Does how I currently act remind you of the guy you once knew?”

The short redhead grimaced at that, with Delilah speaking up on my lap. “Neither of us remember,” she said somberly. “We knew you existed, but nothing else. Not your name, not your face, not anything about you. I didn’t even remember that you once sang that song to me, until just now. That’s why I was looking for someone with blue flames, because I quickly discovered it was unheard of, and that’s the most vivid thing I can remember. Just what your fire looked like.”

I nodded, squeezing my arm around Delilah a little tighter, with her just leaning into me now, looking a little glum.

Elizabeth spoke up to my right from across the table, next to Gwen, for the first time. “You know, maybe that’s why you look nothing like your family. Perhaps the body you’re currently in also has genes from your previous body.”

Miriam frowned. “Actually, it could be that this servant of yours didn’t even get pregnant normally, since that message made it very clear that you planned all this out. And made it clear that she was a surrogate, implying that her genes probably weren’t used in creating this new body of yours. Maybe she just collected some of his hair for the DNA. Humans have created some pretty advanced methods and tools to modify genetics. So that, combined with magic, may have been enough to create this new life. Or perhaps another woman’s egg was used as the foundation.”

My eyes widened at that. “Are you saying she didn’t sleep with him? Because I’m pretty sure my father would have noticed that.”

“No,” Elizabeth disagreed, shaking her head. “Not if she was in a group, and not if he was drunk, as he occasionally is.” She paused. “Or rather, as he occasionally was. The woman could have claimed it was his child, and yeah, so long as you had at least some of his DNA, then he would have known it was his child. Incubi have a sixth-sense about that kind of thing.”

“Really?” Miriam said in surprise, focusing on her past Gwen. “That’s interesting. I’ve always wondered how they knew, since it’s not uncommon for them to randomly sleep with women just one time and never see them again, otherwise allowing them to return to their husbands and boyfriends.”

“Yeah,” Delilah said with a heavy sigh. “His father always knew. I’ve seen plenty of women get pregnant, and come to him claiming it was his child, only for him to turn them away, being confident it wasn’t. Some of the women weren’t even showing yet. They only had a positive pregnancy test. Yet he knew for sure when it was his.”

“Dang,” I said in surprise. “I wonder if I’ll be able to do that too.”

Gabriella scoffed from several seats down on my left. “You won’t ever need an ability like that anyway. If one of us got pregnant, it would be your child.”

I smirked at that, only to glance at Elizabeth, prompting her to immediately hold up her hands. “Hey, don’t look at me. I told you I can’t get pregnant, and if I somehow did get pregnant, then there’s only one man it would belong to. Fuck, I think Bethel would kill any guy I even tried with at this point. She’s kind of got it bad for you and your power.”

I just shook my head in disbelief at that, deciding not to ask, ‘And what about you?’ since I didn’t want to put that pressure on her right now. Not to mention I had plenty of other women to keep me company, and honestly would be fine if Elizabeth was mostly just a trusted friend for now…who I might only occasionally sleep with, if the stars aligned and the mood hit us both right.

Maybe? Maybe not.

Either way, for now, I wasn’t desiring to climb into bed with her anytime super soon.

Even if she was ridiculously hot.

However, I did have to admit that I was beginning to really feel the physical stress of being so low on magic. To the point that it was almost causing my body to hurt again, even though I’d consumed blood and was physically healed. Which truly meant I was part-incubus, and had that need for sexual energy to stay healthy.

Not that I ever had any doubts about that.

Sighing, I gave Delilah a squeeze and then kissed her on the temple, prompting her to look up at me with a somber and confused expression. Clearly, her mind had been elsewhere, rather than on my thoughts.

“Why don’t you slip off, and unzip your pants, so I can get my cock in you while we all talk?”

She squeaked at that, her face flushing deeply, as if the idea both made her excited and also a little nervous. “O-Okay,” she whimpered, not budging an inch.

What?” I scoffed playfully. “You were just suggesting that we all fuck on the table, and now you’re anxious about sitting on my cock while we talk?”

“N-No, I just…” She gulped then and proceeded to slip off just enough to get her foot on the floor, reaching between her leather-clad thighs to unzip the zipper in her crotch.

I used the opportunity to let go of her and reach underneath her leg to unzip my own pants, pulling my hardening cock out with no shame, prompting her to then grab my thick shaft to aim my swollen head between her juicy pussy lips, moaning loudly as she began sinking down onto it.

Fuck, she was wet.

And really nice and tight.

Slipping my hands underneath her loose sheer black shirt as she got back fully on my lap, I glided right up to her small squishy tits, easily accessed thanks to her not wearing a bra, and enjoyed grasping at them for a handful of seconds, pinching her nipples to make her moan, and then finally moving down to feel her adorable belly.

Sighing in contentment, I got more comfortable as I wrapped my arms around her fully, prompting her to reach up to grasp at my forearms as I became fully in control, readjusting her and sinking even deeper.

Only thing that was different, than what I was used to, was just the fact that I was managing to control my transformation, keeping my visible skin at least normal looking, even if a good portion of my body was gray now.

Delilah’s face was deeply flushed as she breathed heavily, already beginning to fill the air around us with passion even though we weren’t moving, of which I promptly sucked up, just as fast as she produced it, already starting to feel better.

“There,” I said warmly, kissing her on the temple again as she started trembling from my heat buried deep within. “Now, I want you to just stay still for me, okay? This is perfect.”

“O-kay,” she whined. “I’ll try. For you, I’ll try really hard.”

I smirked. “You’re going to do more than try,” I teased, reaching down with one arm to place my hand on her warm leather-clad thigh, squeezing her leg as I throbbed deep inside of her. “No moving,” I added, only to focus on Miriam, who had an amused grin on her face. I took a deep breath. “Okay so, obviously one of my next steps needs to be finding this woman, if for no other reason than because she obviously has more information for me.” I looked at Elizabeth. “Any ideas how I might locate her?”

My brunette MILF frowned. “Your father did have me get the information associated with the woman who nursed you for the first two years of your life, but that’s obviously not the same person, as her first name is Taylor. Still, it couldn’t hurt to check in with her to see if she knows anything.”

I nodded slowly as I thought about it, still throbbing deep inside the short blue-eyed minx’s cunt. “Honestly, this whole situation is just so bizarre. This person obviously wants me to find her, and yet left no information about how to do so. I don’t think that was an accident on her part. Which means, she must have left me some way to find her.”

Avery finally chimed in, sitting next to her mom across the table on my left. “Maybe she thinks you’ll remember?”

Serenity shook her head. “That seems risky though. How could she know what he would or wouldn’t remember?”

Mrs. Rebecca spoke up from between Miriam and Michelle. “Maybe it’s an age thing? Possibly once he reaches a certain age, he’ll remember more?”

Miriam sighed. “If only magic were that predictable. I’d have to agree with Serenity. Trusting him to remember seems very risky. More than likely, they had no idea how this would truly turn out.”

I frowned. “So then, maybe there’s something else. Something we’re missing. We should probably take a look at the chest itself, and maybe my father’s letter again, just to make sure.”

Rosa leaned forward then, focusing up at me from my right, but not speaking.

I looked down at her, realizing she had an idea, but didn’t want to blurt it out. Unlike most everyone else, I couldn’t directly hear her thoughts, but I could sense her intentions, similar to how it had initially been with Natalie and my alpha bond with her, prior to me forming a unique bond with her and Avery together.

Alternatively, it seemed she had a better grasp of what was on my mind.

“Go ahead,” I said simply.

She nodded, her crimson eyes hesitant. “Perhaps your blood unseals the stone, but your fire is how you are guided.”

My eyes widened at that. “Wow, that’s a really good idea.”

Rosa’s cheeks flushed at the praise.

Gwen stood up. “Master, shall I retrieve the stone?”

I hesitated at that. “Umm, no, I’ll try in a little bit. Don’t want to do it while I’m torturing this cutie in my arms.”

Gwen sat back down.

Delilah scoffed at that, trembling in my embrace. “T-This is n-nothing,” she taunted.

I grinned, knowing the little devil would actually prefer I do something, or at least let her do something, other than just demanding she stay still. If anything, this was truly hard for her, as my leaking cock continued to pump precum deep inside her pussy.

Shhh,” I whispered, gently nibbling on her adorable ear briefly. “No talking.”

She whimpered at that, a tremor running through her body, but didn’t respond.

Hmm,” Miriam hummed in an amused tone, as she leaned forward with her hands on her cheeks. “I think I like ‘quiet little obedient’ Delilah most. We should have just done this from the very beginning. Dinner would have been so much more peaceful.”

I laughed. “Speaking of which,” I said cheerfully, reaching out for my fork, since I’d barely gotten even half my food eaten. “I am still pretty hungry.” I took a bite while holding Delilah tightly with one arm, enjoying how heavy her breathing was becoming, only to chew and swallow as I continued. “Oh, and I need to call Joseph. Even if it looks like our biggest problem is resolved right now, I still need to be preparing for the future.” I grimaced. “Hopefully he won’t be angry when I tell him what happened.”

Elizabeth seemed shocked. “You’re going to tell him? That seems like a big risk.”

“Because you don’t trust him?” I wondered, deciding to take another bite.

She shook her head. “No, it’s just that, the more people who know, the more likely it might get out. Joseph doesn’t compel his women, which means they could theoretically betray him. And they could definitely betray you, especially if it meant saving him.”

I frowned as I swallowed my bite and took another, considering that.

I then sighed. “That is a risk,” I agreed, only to frown, my tone growing firm. “But now, I feel more confident about who I am, and who I want to be. Ruthless against my enemies, and ‘all in’ with my allies. I don’t want to hold anything back from him. Because let’s be honest. If he found out I was neglecting to tell him stuff, then he might end up doing the same. Or at least feel a little betrayed.”

Elizabeth sighed. “Ultimately, it’s your decision, but just keep in mind that it’s all our heads on the line, if this comes back to bite us in the ass. I realize you’re powerful, like really powerful, but don’t let it go to your head. Everyone can die. Blow your head off, or get your heart ripped out, and you’re a goner.”

I smirked at that. “Yeah, been there, done that,” I teased.

Her emerald eyes widened at that, only for her to focus on the rest of the table, before returning her gaze to me. “Wait, you aren’t serious, are you?”

Miriam grimaced. “I’ve still been having nightmares,” she admitted, focusing on Elizabeth past Gwen. “He did have his heart ripped out, and he did die. Probably the worst day of my life, in all my three-thousand years, aside for when I became a succubus.”

Elizabeth just gawked at me. “And…you survived.”

Gwen looked toward her with a neutral expression. “His blue flames became a heart of fire, and served the purpose of one, until he was able to consume his enemy’s flesh, and drink its blood, in order to regenerate what was lost.”

The brunette MILF looked like she was about to pass out. “And…And what was his enemy?”

Rosa spoke up again, surprising us all. “A rare breed of archdemon known as a Vishnu. I believe they are gods in Hinduism.”

“Ouch,” Natalie said playfully. “Good thing no one here is a Hindu.”

Miriam sighed. “Oh please, you could just as easily say that a Vishnu is an archangel. They all have the same origins. And if I understand it correctly, most Hindus actually do believe in, and worship, one deity. All the other ‘gods’ are supposedly different expressions of the one true God, the Creator, not a pantheon of gods.”

Elizabeth was stuck on that first part. “He…killed an archdemon…” she managed.

“After it ripped out my heart,” I clarified, only to take another bite of food, chew, and swallow. “But I mean, if it’s true that I pretty much designed my own body, then kind of makes sense I’d put in the extra work to ensure it was really difficult for me to die.” I frowned. “Not that I’m foolish enough to go ‘out of my way’ to test that,” I added.

“Of…Of course,” Elizabeth replied simply. “I just…” She shook her head. “Just, wow.”

I smiled at her, and then leaned back in my seat, causing Delilah to whimper as I tensed my hips and thrust even deeper inside her, the little devil continuing to tremble silently, obediently, in my arms.

Damn, I supposed that stuffing her with my cock really was the way to keep her happy.

And silent.

Certainly, I kind of liked Delilah’s personality, but I also kind of liked making her ‘shut up’ as she sat on my cock, looking forward to the day when she annoyed me by talking too much, and I punished her by thrusting my throbbing shaft down her throat, knowing from our previous discussions on ‘hate fucking’ that she’d love that.

If anything, she’d probably try to annoy me on purpose, just so I’d get fed up enough to put her in her place. With my cock.

Glancing at Natalie, she automatically reached out to do what I wanted, barely any thoughts even crossing our bond as she just knew my needs. Carefully fishing in my suit, she grabbed my phone, which was miraculously not damaged at all, and handed it to me.

Delilah whimpered again, practically gasping for breath now as she tried to remain silent, her entire body looking flushed, especially her upper chest, her small tits rising and falling beneath my embrace.

Tapping on Joseph’s number, I didn’t bother verbalizing my intentions, since there were literally only two people in the room not immediately privy to my thoughts at this point -- Mrs. Rebecca and Elizabeth, who I strongly doubted were compatible in any way.

I did wonder if maybe one of them might be compatible with Rosa, but wasn’t sure at this point, and didn’t want to stress Rosa out by thinking too heavily on it. Because I could sense that, while the blonde vampire was basically infatuated with me as her Sired Lord, she didn’t seem to have any thought or interest in the others as anything other than an awareness that I was with them too.

However, Delilah whimpered again as I held the phone up to my ear, prompting me to shush her as it began ringing, the short minx’s passion beginning to skyrocket even more as I truly ignored her, something that was no doubt a new experience for the addictive succubus.

Damn, it actually was me ignoring her, that was a big part of why she was so turned on, coupled with my assertiveness about what I expected of her.

To just sit there quietly while I enjoyed her body impaled on my cock.

While my precum had that aphrodisiac effect on her.

Taking a deep breath, the line finally picked up, with it not being who I expected.

Rachel’s tone was neutral. “Hello?”

“Hey, it’s me,” I replied hesitantly, figuring she’d recognize my voice. “Everything okay? Did you guys make it home safely?”

Rachel sighed heavily, almost sounding relieved. “Umm yeah, we’re fine. Thank you. I was just in the middle of drying off after a really long bath.” She took a deep breath. “Kind of helps wash the filthy feeling away afterward. Even though nothing happened, thanks to you, I still really needed it. Oh, I suppose you want to talk to Joseph, don’t you? Umm, he’s currently explaining everything to the others. As I’m sure you can imagine, a couple of my friends are a bit skeptical. Is it…” She paused, sounding apologetic now. “Is it too much to ask for you to call back? Or maybe can we call you? I’ve made my decision,” she quickly clarified. “So please, don’t change your mind. It’s just that, we only got home barely an hour ago, and all.”

“Oh,” I said in sincere surprise at that last part. “You just got home? Where do you guys live, exactly?”

She hesitated. “Umm, probably about twenty minutes from where you live,” she admitted.

I felt like my eyes were going to bug out of my head, with everyone being shocked, except Elizabeth.

“Wait,” I retorted, focusing on my brunette MILF as I responded to Rachel. “We live in the same city?”

“Umm yeah…” she replied hesitantly. “See, the family who raised you was actually the same family who raised Joseph. We…we were at their funeral five years ago. Kind of first saw you then, but we didn’t…introduce ourselves. Technically weren’t allowed to.”

I felt like I was going to be sick, I was just so stunned.

I couldn’t even wrap my mind around that.

She continued. “Umm, he actually kind of knew Serenity when she was little. He was fourteen when she was born, and she was four years old when he left home at the age of eighteen. But she probably doesn’t remember since she was so young. And then three years later, when you were two years old, you were finally placed with them.”

“Wait,” I finally managed, knowing from Serenity’s mind that she didn’t remember at all, barely even having any memories of being five years old, let alone four. “He’s thirty-seven, right?”

“Umm, yeah. And I’m thirty-one, umm, in case you were curious.”

“And…you were at the funeral.”

“Yeah…gosh, that was when I was twenty-six. Feels like I’ve been blind for so much longer than that.”

“Wait, what do you mean by that?”

She hesitated for a really long time -- like, painfully long -- only to sigh heavily. “It was after the funeral that one of his brother’s compelled me. He wasn’t even supposed to be there, but he’s a real douchebag and loves to stomp on people when they’re already down. He knew Joseph was feeling a lot of grief and decided to pile it on.”

“Fuck,” I hissed. “I’m…I’m really sorry.”

“It’s in the past. And I’m not what happened to me. I’ll never let someone else define who I am.”

Natalie unexpectedly spoke up under her breath. “Fucking love this bitch.”

Unfortunately, Rachel heard. “Who…Who was that?”

Natalie immediately spoke up in alarm. “Oh, I’m sorry. Umm, hi, I’m Natalie. And I didn’t mean anything offensive by that. I just think you’re really great, and…ugh, I’m just making this more awkward.”

Rachel didn’t respond for a long few seconds…

Only to burst out laughing. “It’s okay,” she chuckled. “Not the first time I’ve been called a bitch.”

Natalie’s expression was apologetic. “I really meant that in a good way though. And…ugh, I’ll just stop talking.”

Rachel chuckled more. “It’s alright. Although, is it fine if we call you back later?”

“Umm yeah, that’s fine,” I replied.

“Just kind of want to get dressed and check to see where everyone’s at on this issue. I might have to be the Guinea pig, since a couple of my friends are nervous about Joseph, umm…changing? Is that okay to say?”

“Yeah, although we should keep it vague over the phone,” I agreed, tensing my arm around Delilah when she quietly whimpered again, her pussy really beginning to tense now, almost to the point of working me up to an orgasm.

At this point, it just felt really good, but I could still concentrate just fine.

But damn, I was nearly half full of magic at this point, just from all the passion Delilah was producing. I wasn’t sure if that was a testament to how badly she wanted me right now, or just a testament to how limited my total storage capacity was.

Although, focusing on her gave me an idea.

“And actually, when we do meet up, I think I might bring someone with me who you know, just to kind of give all of you some extra reassurance.”

It was silent for a second.

“Someone I know?” she asked hesitantly.

“Yeah. So keeping it vague, remember the girl in leather pants?” I wondered, knowing that would identify Delilah since it was a funeral and there was only one chick with leather pants on.

“Umm yeah, I know who you’re talking about.”

“And do you know anything about what she hides?” I wondered, already knowing from Delilah’s head that the two of them actually had talked about it at one point, about five years ago when Rachel first lost her eyesight, even though they weren’t exactly close.

“Umm, I do,” Rachel replied simply.

“Well, I made the same offer to her, and so you will be able to see for yourself the result of that offer.”

Rachel was quiet, only to speak hesitantly. “Umm, please forgive me for saying this, but that seems kind of risky.”

“Because of who she is?” I assumed.

“Well, yeah…I mean, you told me that I would have to stay away from everyone, and the girl you mentioned doesn’t always hide things.”

I knew she was talking about the use of illusion spells, and the fact that Delilah didn’t always have one activated.

“Would you believe me if I said that there’s no risk?”

She paused for a long few seconds, before sighing heavily. “Yes, even though I can’t imagine how, I think I will.”

“Good, because it’s true.” I paused. “However, the reason why it’s true is because I actually have some bad news to share with you guys. I don’t know how Joseph is going to handle it. My offer still stands, either way, but there is something I’m going to have to tell you guys before you accept my offer.”

Rachel was silent.

I continued. “Probably best if you don’t guess over the phone,” I added. “And for all I know, he might not mind at all. Hard to say how he will react.”

She sounded nervous now. “C-Can…Can you give me a hint? Please.”

I sighed, knowing the ‘unknown’ was making her really uncomfortable, wondering how I could hint at it while being vague enough to avoid anyone overhearing from knowing what we were talking about.

Serenity was the one with an idea, since the four of us had previously shared in what should have been a private conversation in the cathedral.

I took a deep breath. “Okay, remember when we were first talking in the sanctuary, and I told you there were certain things I didn’t want you to do? Things that you specifically would be able to do, but that you needed to avoid, no matter how much you wanted to?”

“Y-Yes,” she replied.

“Well, some things happened, and there were unavoidable consequences. But that’s probably all I should say. I will tell you guys when we meet up, but I don’t want to say anything else. Just know that I’m on your side, and I don’t believe there’s anything to be worried about. My only concern is how Joseph will feel about it.”

“Let me just ask you this,” she blurted out. “And I promise I’ll be vague,” she added, only to wait…

For my permission to continue.

“Go ahead,” I said simply.

“You…You have an idea how I feel about certain things, right?”

“Sure,” I offered.

“Do you think I would be upset by this bad news? Or…would I be okay with it? Maybe even…happy about it? Assuming that there’s nothing to worry about,” she added.

“Honestly?”

“Yes?” she prompted.

I frowned. “I don’t think you would consider it bad news,” I admitted.

She didn’t respond, but her heart was suddenly racing, to the point that the phone was picking it up just enough for my sensitive hearing to catch it.

“You okay?” I wondered.

“Yes,” she squeaked, sounding almost out of breath, no doubt from her pulse throbbing in her neck as she processed what I might have done, as well as the fact that it might be good news to her.

And fuck, it probably was good news to her, because even if my father didn’t directly torment her, he was the reason why she even had to interact with my other brothers.

Fuck, this would probably be amazing news to her.

She’d never have to attend a family reunion again. And not just her.

None of them would.

None of Joseph’s other women, none of her friends.

Because the immortal who ruled over their life was no more.

I tried not to smile. “Then…I guess…I’ll talk to you later for now?”

“Okay,” she gasped.

“Bye for now,” I said simply.

“B-Bye,” she replied, just before I hung up the phone.

I could almost imagine her now, standing naked in the bathroom, unable to see but with hope that she might soon, and just finding out that it might just be possible…

That the nightmare was truly over.

Finally, they would be free.

Finally…

Because of me.

Threw me a curve ball, never would have expected Kai to be as old if not older than Miriam and Delilah and that he knew Deililah prior to her and Miriam becoming cursed.

So when will the next chapter be out for us?

KaizerWolf

I have a release schedule, which should have been at the top of the Welcome email you received and also should have been a popup when you joined. It's also in the About section. It takes upwards of 20 to 30 hours just to write one chapter, and so I release one chapter of 'something' every weekend, usually on Sunday morning. Sunday Evenings (EST) is my self-imposed 'deadline.' If you happen to live in Australia, then this would probably be Monday for you. Right now, I am alternating between Combat Healer and this story. Because I posted a chapter of Combat Healer this last Sunday, I will be posting a chapter of this story this weekend. Might be midday on Sunday (EST), so you'll have to be patient. You will get an email, saying that Ch 110 is unlocked, when it is available.

I thought this was a good chapter. I liked Elizabeth's reaction to him dying and her disbelief that he killed a archdemon.

Anonymous

It’s a good first half of a chapter. The content is a great start but it felt short, almost incomplete. I love the story so far, just need much more of it.

Alice Duffield

It would be good to understand specifically why Elizabeth is shocked by that revelation. We know archdemons are powerful in a general sense but KW hasn’t been super specific on just how strong they are in the story’s universe.

KaizerWolf

My minimum word count per chapter (the absolute minimum that I promise to post ever week) is 5,000 words, because writing even just 5,000 words can easily take 15 to 20 hours by itself (for plotting, writing, and editing). This chapter is a little over 7,500 words (or 150% of my minimum). Calling it half a chapter feels like you're belittling how much work went into this chapter, though I'm sure you didn't mean it that way. It is true that this is only 'half a scene,' but scenes can last 10 chapters, or they can last 1/5 of a chapter. Really glad you're enjoying the story, and I really appreciate the support, but it's a lot of work getting these chapters written week after week.

Wow now I’m curious how much more everything and everyone are intertwined then we knew. Also wonder if Rachel is Eve or if Eve is somehow connected to that family.

Christopher Miller

I loved all the reveals in this chapter. That Kai sang psalms to Deliah in their courtship, Deliah's history with her family, including her stepfather. That Deliah, not Miriam was his first love, and he was only originally with Miriam because they needed to hide the fact that Deliah and Kai were together. But my favorite reveals were with Kai's modern family. Joseph isn't just Kai's genetic half-brother, they were both raised by the same foster parents. This means (at least in the taboo version) Joseph is also Serenity's adoptive brother, adding one more bond between the two brothers' families. I feel like Serenity is going to 'adopt' Joseph as a brother now as well. Again, this point is specific to the taboo version of the story, but it feels like Serenity's mom is where her imp bloodline comes from and her Dad was also descended from...... Absolom. Probably a 6th generation or more descendant, so no compulsion, no enhanced lifespan, no feeding on sexual energy, so he would be beneath Absolom's contempt as a lesser descendant. But it would explain why Serenity is basically the only one of Kai's women (other than possibly Michelle) to have gray skin when transformed.

Christopher Miller

One of the things I was a bit confused on was the fact that Kai having two wives was considered 'outside the norm'. They were living as contemporaries of King David, who had several wives. David's son Solomon had 1,000, now THAT'S a brave man. Basically most of the Hebrew kings and Patriarchs going back to Abraham were documented to have multiple wives. Mosaic law even mandated that a man (even if married himself) had to wed a deceased brother's wife to posthumously give that brother an heir. So why is polyamory considered 'out of the norm' by Jews who grew up in that time? ::Edit::. Or I'm maybe it was the 'out of the norm' comments being made due to fact that Deliah and Miriam were having sex with each other?

Christopher Miller

I love Natalie's hero worship of Rachel, even though they've never even met. I feel like that is going to be another epic friendship within the extended family. The fact that she admires Rachel's indomitable spirit and how she refuses to give into her tormentors while protecting others makes her so incredible in Natalie's eyes.

Christopher Miller

Let me also go the record for predicting the Elizabeth is going to be a mother again! Kai is more than her equal as a powerful magical creature of fire. Meaning that their future children will be 100% immune to flames while in the womb, and even if there was some kind of damage that could occur Kai's donated genes would regenerate any damage that Elizabeth's fire would cause. ::Edit:: Also, REALLY, REALLY looking forward to seeing Elizabeth's reaction upon seeing Kai transformed the first time. Lol I'm expecting her her melt into a puddle of girl juices, desperate for Kai to make her his woman.

KaizerWolf

My understanding is that it was only 'normal' mainly for kings and those of great wealth, whereas the average person only had one wife (and that was the 'norm' for most). Regional areas are going to have different morals too, since the world was 'much smaller' back then. Even if there was another village 10 miles away, back then that might as well have been on the other side of the country.

Termac

Would that be Liz's reaction, or Bethel's reaction, or both? …I can certainly see it being Bethel's reaction, since she already has the hots (heh) for him.

J Bone

Another good chapter. I like how everyone just wants to help Kai. And by extension each other. I will say Rosa hasn't had much spotlight but she's probably gonna end up my favorite character. Her and Natalie. It's like Kai has two fierce bodyguards. I can't wait to see him going places with them. Then add Elizabeth... Smh. Kai's Harem could probably go toe to toe with almost anyone right now.

Christopher Miller

There are a lot of things like that in the kaizerverse. He has a good habit of subverting expectations by twisting tropes and norms in a good way. Unfortunately when it comes to things like werewolves, ifrit and demons they are so different from what we expect that common points of reference in myths, legends and pop fiction are gone or useless. Thus, we are left in limbo about what is actually true about an enemy's true abilities until KW deals with it in detail, usually with an offhand remark by Miriam, Elizabeth, Natalie and most recently, Rosa.

Keepit simple

I agree. I like the three of them being a "strike" team, though don't know why Kai would need such firepower at this point. Still have a vampire in a box to deal with...

Keepit simple

So just to clarify....Kia blood doesn't actually change anyone, it just removes curses that prevent them from being who they really are?

KaizerWolf

It does change people. Serenity was never cursed, and now she can shift into basically a full-blooded imp. Similarly, Gabriella wasn't cursed, and has now become 'more succubus,' just without the major drawbacks.

Keepit simple

Thanks KW! I understand his blood is powerful...can't wait until you explain more about how it works. Love storyline and group of characters you have assembled. So many possibilities...magic items Kia already owns can be identified now.

Keepit simple

Appreciate the hard work and definitely the consistency of getting us a chapter a week. Always gives me something for me to look forward to on Sunday. My take on Tommy's comment is that no matter how much you try to have a break for a chapter, as a reader we always are looking for more. Not because you did anything wrong, but we want to keep reading. It is really hard not to ask questions about where Kai fathers magical rings etc that he surely has accumulated were and why he didn't grab before leaving to go home. It is hard to try to come to grips that story so far has only been weeks when we have read it for months. That is on us as readers to try and be patient to let you continue your story 😊

J Bone

The vamp in the box will do what Rosa tells him. She's a princess after all.

Termac

Probably not, *if* he thinks he knows better than her what's best for her. Also, her bond with Kai, like Natalie's, has her in a strictly subordinate relationship, so if he finds out about that, he might not trust anything she says.
