I lived just off the 10 freeway, that goes all the way to, and through, Santa Monica. They lost eventually. The scene where the children are being told to go to their rooms and not watch the news, the daughter said "but Mom Claudette Colvin is my age". Claudette Colvin ..... (This next bit I copied from the web.) On March 2, 1955, she was arrested at the age of 15 in Montgomery, Alabama, for refusing to give up her seat to a white woman on a crowded, segregated bus. Why is Claudette Colvin not as famous as Rosa Parks? Colvin did not receive the same attention as Parks for a number of reasons: she did not have "good hair", she was not fair-skinned, she was a teenager, she was pregnant. The leaders in the Civil Rights Movement tried to keep up appearances and make the "most appealing" protesters the most seen.

I am absolutely in love with the show thank you Mackenzie. I don't have Apple TV so I had no idea this show existed. I look forward to the last few episodes. I should see if they plan to do a Season 2.
