Kemi, so glad you enjoyed this mind trip of a film! I got so concerned when you thought I tricked you 😂😂. Don’t worry. I will always warn you so you can have ice/snacks at the ready. The scares for me came from the paranoia of not knowing what is going on or who to trust. Was it drug induced hallucinations? Comet aftermath? A prank? From another watch, before the initial walk through the middle black fog area, I believe that is the last time the group was in tact. Discovering Hugh and the other friend (Amir) had different light sticks, showing they were from another universe, blew my mind and creeped me out at the same time. Your initial thoughts about them acting funny we’re spot on. As far as the ending, I agree with you. I think that Sarah just found the universe where everyone was getting along the best, especially her and her man. When she peeked in the last house, they were all getting along at the dinner table versus the chaos ensuing in other homes and the initial dinner party we followed. The killing seemed like a quick resolve but still…such a selfish and crazy act. I think she just gave up when she realized she was stuck in that reality with the comet passing back over. So what would you if you discovered your double living your version of a “better life”? I would not murder my double to take over her life, but I don’t know what I would do in that scenario. As much as it pains me, I would probably have stayed at the last house before she ventured on her own. Knowing I have a place where I at least am familiar with some would be better than living and holding that lie. Onto the version of Sarah in the bathroom that was attacked. She most likely got out when everyone was asleep and called her man from a safe location. The look on his face shows she definitely spilled the tea on fake Sarah!
