This was a great reaction, I hope you get well soon! Even though I personally didn't find Nope as scary as Jordan Peele's other films, seeing it at the cinema was thrilling - the vast sky (where anything could be lurking) and desert landscapes really lend themselves to the big screen. Some reviews compare Nope to Jaws, with a sky instead of an ocean, and I think that's accurate because it makes the characters feel tiny and helpless in the same way being on the open ocean would. I also really like the way the camera moves, trying to track Jean Jacket's movements around the sky, the same way the human eye would strain to follow it. And of course, the cast absolutely killed their roles, especially Keke Palmer!
