Wow, I was not expecting this reaction so soon after Thor: The Dark World. Thank you for this and for all the reactions that have come and are yet to come Kemi, I truly appreciate your dedication. With your birthday happening in a couple of days, that will be a good time for you to unwind & chill. Looking forward to the bday stream too 😊 Raga has already brought up the returning-to-life of characters in these films of late, with Loki it definitely felt too rushed in my opinion. Whereas here the makers much better show how it can be handled, particularly with Bucky. There was no inkling of Bucky surviving in the first movie, we're able to absorb what happened to him, mourn his passing and then move on. Not until 2/3 into The Winter Soldier, we discover that the titular character is in fact Bucky, that he survived, how he survived (which you had in part put together before it was fully explained in the movie) and what Hydra were doing to him the entire time Rogers was lost & frozen. Even with Fury, we have good reason to actually believe he died earlier in the movie, being that he's a human who was nearly mortally wounded by The Winter Soldier. So while these recent MCU films have been on a trend of killing/returning characters & messing with your emotions, I think it was done very well here. It's just unfortunate they did this with two Marvel movies back-to-back. I knew this was one you were going to love. The storytelling, the characters, the dialogue, the action sequences are all top-tier in this movie. I loved the secret plot of Hydra actually being rebuilt from within Shield all these years by Arnim Zola, slowly shaping Shield to become Hydra and taking out anyone who didn't conform/opposed their plans & ideologies. This was fantastic, loved it. Onto the next 😁👍

I havent seen this one in years and I recently had to....part ways with my best friend. She was like a sister ot me, we grew up together, known her for literally half my life...and watching this again with you; I cried like a baby. It's so hard to watch and feel how friendships can break but hopefully be repaired. Another great reaction! I hope youre enjoying the MCU and Happy birthday!
