Great and intesive response from you!!! I I remember that I read the book before I saw the movie. I had similar feelings while reading it as you did while watching the movie. The book is a page turner. The twist with Gumb's fake house in the plot only exists in the movie. Genius idea of the screenwriter or the director. The moment when the viewer understands that she alone is dealing with Gumb and Crawford is hundreds of miles away is simply priceless.
