I'm amazed that either YouTube or the record label would block people from seeing and hearing a song that otherwise they wouldn't even know about. I can explain what the song is about. It's about wanting isolation to process all the noise of the world. The line about Jesus talks about people who act holier than thou, with their advice and then turn around and being human, they can get swallowed up in the chaos...because after all they are only human to. The part about everyone wants to save the world, boy or girl, talks about people that are more interested in who gets the credit more than a solution. Also, longing the carefree days of summer and how as we get older life goes from being carefree to being weighed down with all the expectations of the world and the crushing heartbreak that can come with that. The band had a few friends back then, that committed suicide and it had the songwriter, the guy in the hat, being very reflective and honest with his thoughts and emotions. It's a deep song
