I am so so glad someone got you to react to this. This song was, and probably still is, played at any party, wedding, etc with a dance floor. The movie starts with them getting a flat tyre on a country road in the rain next to a spooky house. I haven't gone on YouTube yet, but I hope they got you to react to the song directly after this "sweet transvestite". Tim Currie plays the "villian" and is possibly my favourite ever bad guy actor ever. The movie is a bit strange but definitely worth the watch

The Rocky Horror Picture Show was a requirement for all older teens in America to see at the theaters. lol It was a cultural thing in the 80's that not only did we watch the movie but the audiance would also "participate" in as a whole. Think it is one of those things you had to be there (and be a teen) to get it. The entire movie is back then was extremely sexual oriented (for us teens it was like breaking the boundary's of right and wrong lol). I have watched the movie as an adult and thought what the heck, but back than we were at the theaters every Friday night in costume ready to party with our friends. lol Thank you the time warp back to some fun good times :)

Yeah, I think Rocky Horror was very much a "you had to be there" thing. After years of being told about it and reading about it, when I finally saw it (on T.V., as an adult) I was extremely underwhelmed. Whatever it takes to get on the movie's wavelength (seeing it with an audience, right age, right attitude) I didn't have. (This reminds me of Abraham Lincoln's famously diplomatic book review. When asked his opinion of a certain book, he responded "For people who like this kind of book, this the kind of book those people will like." 😄
