Did you know that the “incident” that caused a lot of destruction in New York and that the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood is recovering from is The Battle of New York featured in The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Endgame (2019)? Marvel’s Daredevil (this series) came out in 2015, and although it wasn’t a part of the MCU back then, it’s a neat/subtle way to acknowledge that the series was set in the same universe and shared continuity with the other MCU films and shows. This series also offers a taste of “R-rated” Marvel content, which is a departure from what you are normally used to seeing. They don’t shy away from showing extremely gory scenes at times. For example, in the final scene of Episode 4, you looked away after you saw a bit of Anatoly’s brain plop out of his head, so I’m not sure if you saw that in the end he was fully beheaded by Fisk. Also, one minor correction - you are correct that Claire knows that “Mike” is not his real name; however, it wasn’t Matt who gave Claire that name - it was Claire herself who decided that she would just call him “Mike” after he refused to answer her when she asked him what his name was during their first meeting. Wow, it’s amazing you remembered that the actor playing Foggy Nelson is the same one who played Pollux in The Hunger Games! I love that you’re enjoying the series so much! Thank you for the reaction :)

Also, apart from Matt Murdoch (Daredevil), there are some MCU superheroes you know who are also from New York: Tony Stark (Iron Man), Steve Rogers (Captain America), Steven Strange (Doctor Strange), and Peter Parker (Spider-Man)!!!
