I'm not a fan at all, but, yes, she got poorly treated here. She does express an odd level of surprise that awful people did awful things, and I hope she learns from this experience. I do believe, quite strongly, that faith is personal and to attribute intolerance to religious humans just for the fact that they are religious (or have a different religion from you) is wholly and completely wrong. However, I cannot abide the vilification or unfair classification of any group of people based on their beliefs. And, while she's happy to take on those who would call her bigoted for her religion, she will do the same to "liberals" as though they are all narcissists who get pleasure from helping those they see as beneath them. As she has said, "I like to say now that the reason I'm conservative is because I used to be a liberal, and I learned a lot." Well, same, here, Candace...but with switched labels. I've seen my conservative family drive my lgbtq+ cousins to near tragedy with their intolerance and I know how often religion is used as a sword in the hands of those with no right to wield it. She comes from her own valid experience and probably knew nasty horrid people claiming to be "kind liberals" just like I knew "kind conservatives" who were not. But, somehow, even armed with this knowledge, she still gravitates towards those who would not accept her for that experience if it had drawn her to different conclusions. (As evidenced by how quickly they threw her away). So, I think she's super intelligent, strong, logical, and believes sincerely...but she often misses the step of applying the same grace she demands for herself towards others. If she doesn't want to be unfairly grouped, falsely labeled, and vilified for her beliefs...then a good next step would be to cease doing that very thing to others. Thank you for posting and for your frank discussion. I mean no disrespect towards anyone with my perspective/observations! And I wish her the same happiness everyone deserves!

I am 50-50 on Candence Owens, I am a women of color and I am queer, that being said I agree with her sometimes but other times I am side eyeing her but that's my views I am half liberal half conversative depending on the subject.

Such an intelligent and compassionate comment! Thank you for sharing your voice! I know who Candace Owens is and I disagree with her on just about everything. I couldn't bring myself to watch this video because I adore Kemi, and I just could not stand to see Kemi supporting Candace Owens even if it's only 5%. I know that is unfair of me. I should watch the video and form my own opinion, but your assessment, Jessi, seems fair and so you saved me from having to watch it myself. LOL
