Another lovely reaction! Loved the comparison of Mrs. Sheffield to the rat from Harry Potter 😂 so accurate, she's a despicable person. Lady Mary is truly better off without them, loved how she stood up for Kate. Family isn't always about blood As for the duke - there is nothing is wrong with him. Unfortunately the actor Regé-Jean Page did not sign up for season 2 (he was a breakout star of season 1 and rightfully so)

Greta reaction! Got to be honest I’m not on Edwina’s side he never said he loved her in fact he told her his sole purpose for marriage was duty. Maybe cause of her naivety and her basically being trained to best attract a suitor she thought when he said they would be like a team him as viscount her as viscountess love would come later? Definitely get why she would be hurt by his feelings of love for her sister just not why she is surprised he does not love her

Man every time I get to these episodes I’m always like… what the hell is even edwina talking about. I mean sure they lied to her and kept her in the dark, made choices for her and I do feel sorry to an extent. But she was downright cruel to Kate for no reason. Kate didn’t make the arrangement because she wanted to marry, Kate did what she thought was best for her sister always, even if that meant forsaking her own feelings for Anthony to make sure her sister was happy. What does she get in return? Edwina telling her they’re half sisters. I don’t know why edwina made it out like it wasn’t her choice to marry and that Kate forced her 🙄. moreover, there wasn’t a point were Anthony said that he was looking for love. Kate warned her that he wasn’t looking for love and edwina insisted that she wanted Anthony anyway, she must’ve had some sort of idealised version of Anthony in her head or something because he never promised her love. I know all the cruel words she said to Kate were probably because it was in the heat of the moment but they were unnecessary, in my opinion. It made me dislike Edwina, not going to lie. I also just want to add that Edwina was just proving Kate’s point that she wasn’t ready to deal with things on her own and that she was childish because she got herself in this situation all by herself. Anyway, I know I’m probably in the minority and people like Edwina and understand her point of view but it just irritated me a bit that she couldn’t even understand Kate’s perspective when Kate at least deserves that, with everything that she’s done for their family. I guess I just expected more empathy and understanding from Edwina because I read the books.
