All I ask here is to watch the original. Try out both. Don’t get me wrong, DeNiro is a good actor but he had a lot to live up to w being Max Cady. The original was older but it has a more psychological feel than just flat out violence. Nick Nolte isn’t bad but Gregory Peck stole the show for me. If people like the remake after watching both, got no prob. Just like people to have options. Do love your reactions my friend :)
