First off, I would take them and, together, have a serious look at your financial situation about whether it's stable enough for the conversation to move forward. If not, then the argument stops here. If it is, I would then proceed to have a serious conversation saying why you want to have children. Then ask them why they don't want to have children. Perhaps the reason for either one lies in something that children give peripherally but can be supplemented by something else (ex. if you want to feel like you need to love something or are feeling maternal, would getting a pet assuage those feelings?).

Find a way to help children through community service or assisting a family member/close friend with children who needs help. You may face the reality that your happy marriage will not yield further offspring, but you also need to understand that it is far more important to be the one who nurtures children than the one who births them. It takes a village. Be that village. Mother Nature gives us all a point where we're expected to turn our experience into help and support of a very different sort, but no less important. You can fulfill your life by serving the needs of children all around you, and not be the person who brought them forth upon this world. Instead be the people who make this a world we want kids to thrive in.
