She's not even considering that the change was an accident. The look on the mannequin's face should be a clue to that.

The facial expression thing is one of the reasons I prefer plots in which the women that are being transformed are joyfully anticipating their mannequinization, not caught by surprise! Could the hoop (or some other, e.g. silver hoop) just re-humanize her face, she changes her expression and is then re-mannequized? I also like that the saleswoman just treats her as a object, not to try to restore the human!
