Yesterday I forgot to upload this. This weekend I have been experimenting with more ways to turn the hairstyles of DAZ into something solid, to make better statues. Looks like with short and "compact" hairstyles maybe I have something, but long hairstyles depends a lot of how the mesh is internally (and needs a lot of postwork, the Erica bust, for example, needed around four hours to fix it), and even the shorter hairstyles needs to be more "compact" to work with this "technique" (For example, take a look to the bust of Thea -unfinished-, it has yesterday around 10 hours of work and the hair continues without look well :( ). Anyway... I guess I will need more time to investigate this ^^U I would appreciate any comment and suggestion, ideas are welcome :)
PS: Today I hope to continue with the series ;)

Not a big fan of Ssss.... *those things* but I really like the molded/sculpted look of the hair on those ssssss.... things. =)

I am relatively happy with the result of the bust with the shorter hair, hairstyles like that could fit really well with this "trick" (even for mannequins with sculpted hairstyles, not only statues), and Erica, after a long time of postwork looks very well too. The problem is with hairstyles more like Thea's, like... "open". The "spiky" locks are unrealistic to something sculpted. I am thinking about to buy an addon for blender to make better remesh. Not sure how it would look, but maybe could make more easy the later sculpting to fix this type of hairstyles. But definitely, this will not work to make "stable" hairstyles to be reused except with very short hairstyles, they will not fit well with the figures and each statue or mannequin would need to make a new one with each possible change of position :(
