Hey babies~ here is the episode we watched today on Twitch

Please, if you haven't seen it, I will repeat :

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ALL THE KOREAN HISTORY CONTROVERSION, DO NOT WATCH THIS DRAMA! I am, by no means, trying to insult anyone's history much less give my opinion about it because that's not MY HISTORY to tell as an international fan.

I am only watching this for the characters. So, I repeat, if you feel uncomfortable, please don't watch, I understand you COMPLETELY

I wasn't aware of the controversy of the show. I watched it on and off last night partly cause I wasn't really interested in this kind of show (I mean old timey show especially in that era because of the history of that time, I am fully expect it will have a sad ending) but I still wanted to support dear old Tsuki. Turn out somebody did make a petition to cancel the show and 200k already signed it. Doesn't sounds good for this show https://www.allkpop.com/article/2021/12/over-200000-viewers-sign-blue-house-petition-in-a-day-to-cancel-jtbcs-drama-snowdrop-for-distortion-of-history

Yes. When i first heard about controversy i was like 'huh? It's not a big deal' but i read a thread of a person whose mother is one of the victims of that time and now i can understand koreans

BTW Tsuki, I remember you said you wanted to edit and upload this on Youtube. But, I suggest you hold on to that or just share in Patreon. The more I read about the controversy the more I felt uncomfortable about the show and it will have a huge backlash on Youtube (if you think Squid Game Sang Woo defenders are bad... man I think this is 100 times worse cause actual people involved and actual people died during this time)

sorry. I don't think you can continue to force me not to react to this drama. However, this is a very serious problem for me, and it was a drama that I wanted to be canceled. There may be opinions that it is okay to just watch it as a drama, but even though I was born at the end of the democratization movement, I took on a terrifying role and I know the horror well. So I don't think we can leave this drama on the air. As someone who likes your reaction, I'm sorry to say this.

I knew about controversies beforehand...(as Korean myself) I didn't think it was right to judge before it aired. Now I have a own idea of this controversy, but I don't think it's appropriate to say my personal thoughts here. Despite the controversy over this drama, it is free to say what you think, but we should be careful about putting pressure on the other person.(I don't mean that someone left a message that put pressure on others.) please don't get me wrong. I am only saying that we should leave it Tsuiki to decide whether continue to reacting this drama or not.(of course, no one has said that the Tsuki should stop reacting). If the controversy over the drama goes against your beliefs, you don't have to watch it. Like what Tsuki said.

Hey now, nobody forcing anyone to do anything. If Tsuki wanted to watch the show she can, if she shared here and it's not your kind of show (I don't like this one too), then it is for others to enjoy. Watch other show here man

I am going to pass on this one sadly since my country is dealing with massive historical revisionism too and is constantly rewriting history of the bloody revolution for peace and justice. the high elites always ALWAYs write it off as "terrorism" attacks. :( this hits too close to home for me. Although I also understand if Tsuki will continue it. One thing, I hope if people can give this a chance, I hope they can also watch one of the most successful movie tackling it: 1987: When the Day Comes. There's no issues surrounding it. They depicted the movement on the victims side. And possibly one of the most accurate depictions of the event (according to the victims too).
