I am glad Sweetheart is helping Milo, and making sure he doesn't push himself. Also, kinda concerned about Dump and Closeknit. I think Closeknit has ppl inside Dump and were clearly using the Inversion as a distraction, and to recruit more ppl using fearmongering....gah the storytelling in these videos are amazing

not surprised but SUPER not a fan of the revelation that milo hasn't been able to shift since taking the ward down....there must be some way to check if his threads are still intact, right? it feels like the healers would have been able to tell if he'd completely overloaded his core to the extent that he can't do magic anymore, but...with any luck, this will hopefully be just as he said, and take time before he can shift again. if he were to lose that—i can't even imagine the emotional devastation. getting the ball rolling on putting pieces together re: who's responsible for inversion. obviously as viewers we have much more information than everyone else, but WE'RE still in the dark about a lot of important details, too. feels to me like there's a bunch of plot points that are about to intersect; i wish we could point milo in the direction of a certain couple who has less-than-favorable views of closeknit combined with some interesting information about balances. (like.....have sunshine and elliot just been trapped THIS WHOLE TIME??? pls i need them to be okay) anyway, milo's a smart guy, and i'm glad he's already realized that there seem to be external forces trying to pit the department and the chorus against each other and subsequently reap the benefits. based on what gavin told us, it's a safe bet to assume that they didn't have anything to do with inversion, even if the breakouts are a little more ambiguous. but this has to be a time where demons and humans work together, otherwise....yikes. things are already going south behind the scenes with the balance and the river: the last thing we need right now are further tensions between species. sorry for the essay, this is just SO GOOD, AHHHHH

Maybe Lasko can connect Milo to Gavin! Maybe as a daemon he can get a better grasp on what’s happened to his threads! I do like how they were compared to pulling a muscle though, that gives me hope he will be better with time and rest!

2022-12-30 22:18:19 there is so much going on lore wise i’m not fully sure where to start but milo not being able to shift? oh boy that’s gotta be absolutely crushing. magic having a core in shifters is a really sick thing to hear tbh. milo’s handling it a lot better than i expected, but not as great as anyone could. i stand by my other comment about closeknit having a hand in this, like as deep as being the ones to initiate the inversion. i also stand by my other comment dump and the chorus’s relationship biting everyone in the ass. smth about nate wexler is super sus but we’ll see about that. the look of the cracks in the tapes getting larger is v concerning; it’s all gonna come to a head when all the info is revealed about the inversion. how tf we got a copy of jett’s report is beyond me but i’m impressed we did. this is shaping up to be a lot more complex than originally thought
