The feeling of being in Huxleys’s warm embrace gives me comfort to keep moving I can see him hurting and freelancer feeling guilty for not being able to save Xavier just so he wouldn’t have to hurt of course he would still be sad about everyone that got hurt but his captain/friend dying is what really got to him.

Damein was so right when he said Huxley was a calming presence. Even after everything that's happened and without doing much at all besides voicing his feelings, he brings so much comfort. He's actively working through his trauma and grief in an open and healthy way that kinda just makes it seem achievable, if that makes sense. Like, if he can do it, then it's not as impossible as it feels. And that alone is comforting. I really liked that FL was the one to initiate the first hug, as well. Gavin needs to be allowed to rest. I understand the Chorus questioning him asap, but to be expected to relive something like that so soon after experiencing it? I'm no stranger to the odd panic attack but what Gavin went through, I'm sure there's no human equivalent. Exhausted isn't even the word. And if there's anyone feeling survivor's guilt right now, it's Gavin. Not just for Xavier but for every person that died that night. Knowing you have the power to help and being unable to is so much worse than not having the power to help at all. I hope we'll get to hear his and Hux's interaction.
