Chapter 26: An Agent's Case

Kiran woke up the next day after a good night's rest. It had been about a month since he worked as a detective, and now seemed like a good time, considering that someone wanted him to be part of whoever was giving orders now.

Looking at the information on his computer now, Kiran checked the files and found an intriguing audio one.

"Let's see what this is about." Kiran pressed the audio file, and it started playing.

"I mean, things have been very strange during this time we've spent in that house... Everything should have happened three months ago. I mean, it should have started at that time.]"

Kiran nodded, making his initial observations. As a detective, he had to conduct a detailed investigation to determine if it was a supernatural incident that required direct intervention.

Looking back at his computer screen after making some notes, Kiran pressed the button to continue playing.

Kiran listened without showing any expression on his face; investigation cases were like this. As it is not always possible to determine in special cases if it's a dark entity or an accident, field agents gathered information and passed it on to those who would contain the threat, as well as determining if it was indeed a dark entity.
