Hey everyone!

Patreon has declared today #ThankYouPatrons day, so I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for supporting Hold Back To Block and my work over the past few months. It's been a dream of mine to do this kind of work in the FGC and thanks to you all it's possible. Thank you, so much! We've got a lot coming to the channel in the next few weeks, so let's talk about them!

Talking Netcode With Keits

I had the chance to sit down with Adam "Keits" Heart over at Iron Galaxy as part of our documentary on Killer Instinct coming next year. Part of that discussion was a talk about KI's fantastic netcode as well as what it takes to implement rollback in games today. I'll be taking that section and making its own feature. You can expect this to hit the channel next week.

Building And Managing A Team With NyxRose

One of the things I've always been curious about is just what goes into building and managing a team in the FGC, so I invited Emily from EQNX to talk about just that. We go over her personal story as well as why she decided to start EQNX and how they keep everything running with limited resources. You can expect this in early-mid December.

Let's Plays And Fighting Games With WoolieWoolz

You may be familiar with Woolie from his work with the Super Best Friends, Friday Night Fisticuffs, or his match against Daigo at Evo 2012. We had a chance to chat about his history with fighting games and his work with trying to get more people interested in the genre. You can expect this video in late December.

UNIST and KI

These are our big projects to both close out the year and bring in the new one. I had a chance to attend Climax of Night in Atlanta a few weeks ago to finish up filming for our doc on the UNI scene as well as to talk to Shinobi about putting the event together. The doc should be around 40 minutes to and hour long and I'm aiming to have it finished for the end of December

As for our doc on Killer Instinct, originally I wanted to have that out in December but a few interviews got delayed so it'll be out in January/February.  Filming has been going great however and we've got a wide array interviews spanning from developers of the 2013 game, to fans and players that have kept the game going to today. This project is going to be massive and close to full-length and I'm really excited to get to work on it soon.

So yeah, quite a lot coming soon! As always, thanks again for helping make all of this happen and I hope you like the videos once they're released. As always if you have suggestions for videos, you can leave them in the comments here or join our patron only discord. Until next time!

- Esteban
