Hey all!

I'm hard at work on our upcoming documentaries, but am also thinking about the future a bit and wanted to pose a question to you all.

Fighting games are one of my biggest passions. It's why I dedicated the last few years on covering/working in the scene and helping tell it's emerging stories. That being said, I also love gaming as a whole and have been lucky enough to be a part of many communities such as speedrunning or rhythm games and I think their stories are just as important to tell as ours in fighting games?

So I wanted to raise the question to you folks: would you like to see some of these stories on Hold Back To Block in the next year? Fighting games will continue to be the focus on the channel, but I would love to carve out a space for us to tell the stories of our neighbor communities too. Let me know in the comments!

I'd definitely want to see the focus of the channel remain on fighting games (as you mentioned), but I think non-FG docs could be a nice addition as well, to keep things fresh. It all comes down to what you want to do Esteban. Personally, I support you not just because of the subject matter of the docs, but also because I'm a fan of your style. It feels to me like your existing involvement with scenes like GDQ would make non-FG docs a natural progression of the channel, fitting in well when dotted amongst the FG-focused videos.

I would be very interested in exploring other scenes
