ATEEZ’s performance meant so much for me as an ATINY. I loved every second of it and am so proud of them. The fact that they did this performance solely because they know ATINY love this song and it means a lot to us made me cry alone but seeing them perform and have so much fun made the tears flow even more. They knew that most people wouldn’t understand the significance of the storyline and how the stage helped tie so much together. They risked everything for us. I’m more than proud of the boys and know their hard work does not equal what they were ranked. 8 MAKES ONE TEAM!!!! ATINY FIGHTING!!!!

I’m SO happy you said your end ment. Because I agree!! I don’t prefer sensual/sexy concepts at all so I didn’t find SF9’s performance appealing, BUT I felt SF9 really deserved their ranking. As you mentioned, music/dance/performance is subjective and everyone’s taste in art is perceived differently. But we have to remember that there’s a reason these 6 groups were chosen specifically for Kingdom and it’s bc they’re all already Kings and it shows. They’re individually unique and amazing in their own ways. Honestly the best parts that came out of this show is their friendships, the performances for their fans, gaining domestic/global exposure and also gaining new fans. So at the end of the day, they’re all winners in my eyes. I’m hoping my twt timeline is cleansed from fan wars after this show is over. The discrediting and shit talk gives me a headache lol

The fact that after ateez filming this eps and they already know the result , they are going to jeju island for a vacation. THANKS AGAIN KQ 🥰 even their producer team said that kingdom really make them exhausted. i'm still cry everytime watching their performance , bcs i know they do all of this for ATINY i'm so proud of ateez ❤ AS AN ATINY . I LOVE SF9 PERFORMANCE!! 🥺

I’ve gotta say as a deobi, I’m so so proud of how far The Boyz have come since the beginning of Road to Kingdom! Through RTK, they were always so focused on first place, so when they entered Kingdom they did so with the same mindset. Having the title of the winners of RTK put so much pressure on them that, as a deobi, I could tell that they were so nervous and regretful about the first two rounds. Seeing them put their all into the performance and be happy with their work despite the ranking makes me so proud! I cried along with Sangyeon, they’ve worked so hard this past year and it’s about time they let go and just have fun :)

I love what you said about the fanwars and it's so spot on, the idols themselves wouldn't want their fans to act like this which confuses me because if you're part of the fandom and love the group why would you let them down like that, why would you use a fandom they created in a way that it wasn't meant for. A fandom was made to support the group, to have a community of people with the same interest not to tear other idols down if anything they should be building them up and appreciating the hardwork it takes to be an idol but it's twitter 🤷🏾‍♂️ people feel the need to act this way and I have no idea why, I just feel bad for the groups if they see it because it's not what they want at all

I feel ateez took a really big risk from their stage, for us atiny it was easy to see the meaning behind it but to non fans, people that don't know their music videos and storyline it won't have the same impact unfortunately, like even if people don't know the story they could see the power behind the stage but it becomes alot more impactful when you know what it's about. I'm in disbelief that such performance could come 6th place but I also feel like ateez knew what they were doing this stage from the start was all about that fans and that's it.

The more I watch the SF9 performance, the more I'm left speechless by it. It would have been so easy for them to have done Taemin's choreography but I love that they took what he said to heart: the moves come from your emotions. And they really embodied that. They kept some of the main elements of Taemin's move but performed it through their own emotions. I'm probs not making any sense. I just appreciate that they made the song and style THEIRS instead of *making themselves* fit into Taemin's emotions. I also love their concept: they're humans first. All idols go through rigorous training and it can seem very factory-esque. They are their own artists and they don't want to fit the mold of what an idol should be. It's so brilliant. I'm just...wow. I love that all the groups recognized what they were going for. Taeyang has always struck me as a very Taemin-esque dancer but Chani did something really incredible. SF9's dance line (Taeyang, Chani, and Youngbin) are all incredible dancers but are all very different dancers. The way they were able to control themselves and their movements to fit with this concept is so impressive. They really deserved this win. Looking forward to you diving more into SF9 down the road!

I think they knew the risk going in and I support their decision to do this performance for the fans. I do think when Jongho threw the crown that it was like a revelation for them that winning wasn't as important as their fans are. That was so evident when they were all watching their last concert and seeing the absolute joy in HongJoong's face as he watched. That man was born to be on stage and loves performing and I think that's what makes all of them so compelling to watch. I don't do the whole twitter thing, but you'd have to live under a rock to not hear about all the fanwars and rumor spreading that go on there. I feel bad for the groups also because they must see that going on. But on the bright side it's usually a small percentage of "fans" that are bad apples.

Yeosang's part in Answer is also one of my favorites, I'm so happy he finally got screen time on their group stages. It's a shame we did not see more of him before. I think I had such high and albeit pre-conceived expectations for Answer that I did not as immediately like this stage this as much as the other ones. I think they packed a lot on this stage and it takes more time to process it all whereas their other stages were easier to follow. I enjoy it much more after seeing it a few times and slowing some of the dance breaks down cause sometimes ATEEZ is just too fast for my eyes.
