FYI: I super apologize for the part when my camera battery died without me realizing it, therefore cutting half of my reaction to iKON's BADASS performance out. I was pretty frustrated due to how much I overreacted to MY QUEEN but I guess that's not the worst things that can happen in my life, right? I left their whole performance in the video anyway due to knowing that a lot of y'all watch KLW through my "watch party" videos. My bad again y'all, I'll make sure this doesn't happen again!

After last episode’s group interactions and this week’s SKZ + Ryan Reynolds interactions I no longer care who wins because we already got so much goodness! I’m glad Stray Kids has at least been enjoying their time on the show and that’s enough of a win 😊 They look like they’ve been having a lot of fun and letting loose a bit!

YES OMG YES! I've never clicked on a link faster! This episode was incredible!! The vocal unit performances were absolutely stunning and it kills me that Inseong blamed himself for their team losingbut the Mayfly performance really was so flawless, and was my favorite of all the unit performances. I'm shocked they swept the votes but it was so well deserved. Eunkwang arranged this beautifully. AND THE IKON AND SKIDS PERFORMANCE!! My oooooooonly small teeny tiny complaint with iKon is that I wish they had performed with Lisa but I suppose I understand why they gave her her own stage. And the Skids performance!? UFF. I knew you weren't going to be ready for it! It was so perfectly THEM and I'm so glad this performance went viral so people could see just how fun and talented they all are. Chan said in his live that all of them came up with the Deadpool concept but that he was the one that really pushed for it with the powers-that-be. I really do appreciate the trust JYPE has in Chan and Skz. (Also I knew you'd lose your mind with Lee Know. That fit...THAT FIT! I'm only human, LOL. He also is credited with helping with the choreo too which just makes it all the better). UGH I'm just so proud of Stray Kids. They really are something special and they deserved all of the attention bestowed on them by Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Zedd, Jurassic World, and a million others. Something has definitely shifted after this performance. I'm so excited for them. xo (Also I can't wait for the next episode! I've always thought Taeyang is very similar in dance to Taemin so knowing they're going to do Move is going to slay me dead) Such a fun episode to watch you, Thina!

Ugh my god. This episode. Dare I say it, WAS LEGENDARY. It's been such an amazing and overwhelming weekend. Like a good chunk of it was our Stay President Ryan and Stay Vice President Hugh, but it was the global exposure overall. Here's a summary of what's happened if you missed it: IU shared the Mayfly unit's stage on her ig story, Zedd interacted with Stray Kids and we might have a collab in the future? The drummer of Imagine Dragons noticed Felix, an artist Felix recommended named Hamzaa noticed Felix too and listened to GM and Backdoor, Ayaka Myoshi from Alice in Borderland shared skz's No Limit performance on her ig, the official Jurassic World twt acc commented on a pic of IN with a cute baby dinosaur tatt on his arm from this ep and said "We love this *dino emoji*" and don't get me started on the amount of articles they had all over the world. LIKE WHAT! It was extremely overwhelming but I couldn't be any more happier for Stray Kids. This was a dream come true for them and they work so hard for us. I felt like we were able to pay them back. The entire group thought about the Deadpool concept, but Chan pushed the idea onto the company bc he felt like Deadpool was the perfect character to compare and show who Stray Kids was. Deadpool as an anti-hero breaks the 4th wall in the movies/comics, meanwhile Stray Kids is the kpop group in the industry who strays away from normalcies and they do whatever they want just like Deadpool. It's fitting you know? That Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are the 2 Marvel actors Chan admires and they're known for their humor and banter just like Stray Kids, so it's like this was fate. Another thing I loved about Stray Kids' No Limit stage is how at the end when they chanted "Stray Kids Everywhere All Around the World" it felt like they were calling out to stays literally everywhere all around the world. Kind of like a high scale version of District 9 to remind us that this is our district. Our kingdom. Our little empire. Our home. You know? I really love them. I'm so proud to be a Stay and i'm eternally grateful to Stray Kids, especially Chan for being our love and support.

Stray kids blew it out of the park. To cover a super famous BP song, that took balls and they just slayed it. They’ve proven that they’re the leader of the 4th gen groups. Ikon’s performance was great too of coz but I can’t help feeling a lil disappointed that they didn’t perform or dance together. Can u imagine if Lisa & Bobby rap together? It could have been epic. It’s more like a special appearance by Lisa.

(just commenting on vocal units for now) what can i say, the mayfly vocal unit just blew it out of the park. don't get me wrong It's One were also great of course, but i dunno man, mayfly were just on a level of their own. they were perfect. i'm not even usually a ballad fan but that was probably my favourite kingdom stage so far. i think a part of it (in addition to their raw talent of course) is that mayfly had amazing chemistry in all their units, and that translated super well through their performances. like, you can literally see them connecting with each other here, it's great! Hoping we get some sort of mayfly reunion in the future! (editing to add: mnet are evil for playing out the inseong thing for so long, even after the results were announced)

I was really bothered that they kept cutting to him during the Mayfly performance. Just to gauge his reaction and make him feel worse.

ahhh i pledged just to binge all these kingdom reactions in less than a day oh no... anyways i wanted to give my opinion on the unit stages as a the boyz ult (though ateez and skz are among my fav groups as well, and ikon, sf9, and btob rising fast!) sorry in advance for the long comment! rap round: imo, these two performances were on the same level, but in VERY different categories. objectively, mayfly 100% deserved that win! their stage was so cohesive, had a clear theme/message, and was executed flawlessly!! i was shocked the whole time :D however i do have to say that from a completely personal perspective I prefer it’s one’s stage, simply because of the fact that i could see how much fun sunwoo was having! bobby knew that in sf9 and tbz, hwiyoung and sunwoo never get the chance to rap outside of the group’s image, so he gave the verses to them and let them do whatever that wanted with it! as a deobi i can say i have probably NEVER seen sunwoo so happy and free on stage! bobby is one of his biggest idols, and seeing the smile on his face and hearing him say “i never know i could be this happy in a competition” beats all else for me :) like the members said, as long as sunwoo is happy, we are happy too! however, i do agree with mayfly’s win for this round! dance round: ok pls don’t come for me but i disagree with the results of this round. again, i can see why mayfly won, but in my opinion i think it’s one should have won. to me, the storytelling, originality, artistry, and acting of it’s one’s stage was BREATHTAKING! taeyang rly surprised me, and dk’s facial expressions- WOW! in my opinion, i think i would have liked mayfly’s better with less members. to me having 9 ppl made it seems a bit too busy for my taste, i rly wanted to see the individual talents of each dancer (i.e. in it’s one’s, we saw the members individually as well as a unit, and that balance was perfect to me)! i’m also not gonna lie wolf was never my favorite exo song, but i think they pulled off the concept flawlessly! i was definitely starstruck the entire performance! however to me it was more of a (extremely) elevated cover, while it’s one’s was an original story told by the music, and dancing, and the acting. it definitely comes down to personal preference, and i would def prefer it’s one’s! vocal round: ok, so this win no doubt goes to mayfly for me! the cover was STUNNING, all three voices shone, the staging was simple yet enhanced the performance, and the song choice was BEAUTIFUL! i think the simple staging was a smart choice because it let their voices shine, whereas in it’s one’s stage, all the fire in the background was a bit too much and made it harder to focus on the vocals. i have to say, i like it’s one’s cover of spark even more than the original song! however, in the performance the staging wasn’t right to me, plus i though the background music was too loud and i couldn’t hear the vocals/harmonies clear enough! if a studio version comes out tho i would definitely listen to it one repeat. it breaks my heart seeing inseong blame himself, as a deobi i can say we don’t blame him at all! he was preparing for a freaking musical at the same time! that mistake could happen to anyone! however, i do have to say that even if inseong did hit the high note, i still would have preferred mayfly’s by far. they deserved each of those 33 votes, even though it hurts my heart that it’s one got 0. please dont come for me ahhh these are all my opinions! it absolutely breaks my heart that it’s one lost all 3 rounds. not saying that mayfly didnt deserve it, cuz they were INSANE all 3 rounds! but as a deobi who’s followed tbz through RTK, i felt the pressure they had to live up to their stages. even though they say they don’t care about winning, i can only imagine the blow that 3 losses (and a 0:33 loss) will have on their confidence :( honestly i could already tell in the first couple Kingdom episodes how demoralized they were. they put SO much pressure on themselves to be “worthy” of the title of RTK winner. not gonna lie it sometimes hurts to watch kingdom because it’s been so hard on them. just today it was announced that two members are injured and will not be performing for the final round! all i can say is that i hope they (as well as sf9 and ikon) know that they were amazing! all their fans are sooo proud of them, and i’m sure they gained so many new fans too! i hope they stay healthy and happy, and BIG congratulations to mayfly for their well deserved wins! anyways, end of rant lol SORRY for the uber long comment!
