Yay!! I didn’t know you were going to react to this ❤️ I know EXACTLY what you mean about Han’s voice at the beginning! It’s a different vocal color that we don’t normally get to hear. I had the same experience w/ IN!! Lol Hearing him sing trot music w/ his vocals now compared to 2017/2018 really shows how much he’s grown since then. But it makes you so proud seeing them show these different sides of them and seeing them improve 🥲 I feel like a proud mom LOL

So the editing made it a bit confusing, on the show the audience and the people reacting to Changbin and Han didn’t know it was them under the masks. the bit where the boys were introducing themselves was actually from after their performance, it had just been edited from the original broadcast for this vid. Before the reveal the people reacting to them try to figure out who’s singing. It’s a competition where people come on in masks so there isn’t any bias (kinda, I don’t think it always works) and they are judged on their voices, they go through rounds and if they get voted off that is when they do a final performance and take their masks off which is what these performances are. Han and Changbin had another performance each when they had a duet with another masked contestant. It’s a shame that they didn’t get far in the competition, kpop idols don’t tend to get very far in the show, I think Kyuhyun from super junior is the only idol to have won masked singer. But honestly sending main rappers to a big singing competition is a super flex for Stray Kids.

This reminds me that Jihyo was also in this show and it was one of her best performances because she was allowed to choose songs that fit her pitch and not forced to sing high like JYP's fetish says everyone should.
