Howdy folks! Just wanted to give you a little bit of an update on how the next update is progressing. I know that a lot of you are super excited for the Foundry module (and I am amongst them); it's progressing along nicely. We (read: myself and Hadalonut) want to make sure that it's fully featured before release, so as to maximise the initial uptake.

The roads module has ballooned out to massive, epic proportions; I think that you'll really get a kick out of just how much detail is going into it. We are reusing the building materials probabilities that work for the structure creation function, which means that you'll get a cohesive experience; mountains that are rich in limestone will have limestone roads as well as limestone buildings! Our work in creating something that reuses its same building blocks is paying off dividends in spades.

Unfortunately, this is mired by a realisation that at some point along the way, the PRNG has broken- what this means is that the same seed no longer returns the exact same output every single time. Now, it might not seem like a big deal, but when we're using PRNG to expect various things, it might have some serious consequences further down the line (such as break unit testing), so we're pumping the brakes until we figure out what's going on.

I'm taking some leave over Christmas, and when I'm not participating in festive merriment, I'll have plenty of time to work on the generator, so will hopefully be able to get some of these milestones smashed!
