Would you be interested in system-agnostic one-shots?

  • Yes, I would love pre-made oneshots! You should devote considerable time to it for inclusion in the next update, and commission writers! 4

Hi guys, 

Just want to get a feel for the room of whether there's any interest in me adding in one-shots. An example of what I'm talking about is in the  Toolbox, called "The Poisoned Potioner", which is a short murder mystery without any combat. Is this a feature that you think would be helpful to the generator? It's decidedly not in the 'scope' of the generator, but I feel like it's also something that some people might find useful. Please put your thoughts below.

I voted no, not enough payoff, but I don't know how much effort it takes to get one-shots into the generator. If it's not really difficult, I'd say yes instead.

Random Creation

There could interesting synergy with the actual generators if you build the oneshots from modular, reusable pieces, based on for example structural analysis of folklore around the world. But a model like that is not something that could be whipped up overnight, so thins gets a strong 'maybe' from me.
