So I decided to use the Airship after all, which is clearly obvious at this point. Lol! I loaded it with dirty/rusty materials, which is one of the options that comes with the prop, but we are going to need a clean version too. For that I wanted to touch up the material a little: convert them to Daz, maybe change a few, and tweak some others.

Here are some preview images of what I ended up with. I am not entirely happy with it. I had thought about changing the blimp colors to pink and purple, but the material zones don't really allow for that. I would have to change the texture images in Clip Studio Paint. I've done that before, but not this time.

What I did do though is separate out the material zones on the wings in the back. All of the wings at the back were one material with a texture image. Part of that is clearly wood and part is metal. I wanted the metal to look metal, and the wood to look wood. So I couldn't just crank up the "metallicity" setting, because then the wood wouldn't look like wood.

So I toyed around with the Geometry Editor in Daz and made two new material zones of the metal. :)

Sadly, the same method wouldn't work for the two-tone main body of the blimp.
