This was a tough comic. There were a lot of references back to earlier versions of these models from comics that I did years ago. Norebor really likes to challenge me sometimes. :P

But sometimes I'm up for the challenge! :)

Just to give you an idea, here is what I have to do in order to use one of these older versions of a model:

1) Go find the file for the comic page that has that version of the model.

2) Load that file into Poser, as these are all very old comics that were done before I switched to Daz.

3) Track down all the resources that were used for that model in my library of thousands of things. You might think this part is easy, but just about everybody calls their shirts, dresses, and tops the same thing. Try finding that one dress among 20 or 30. :P

4) Convert the models shape to Daz.

5) Load all of the clothes in Daz and convert their materials. Again, I often have to track down the textures that were used in the original, which is no easier than finding the actual item. Lol!

6) Adjust the clothing to fit the model in Daz. Daz doesn't have Poser's manual morphing tools. Most of the time, I can't just export the shape of the clothing and load it into Daz. I often have to find some other way to make the clothes fit my very busty models.

7) Sometimes I have to find and convert the model's skin again too, if she happens to be wearing different makeup.

8) Make sure this all works in Daz.

So it's actually quite a bit of work to go back and reference specific versions of a model from a prior comic. It's much easier if it's from Daz, but these old Poser references can be a real challenge!

It's a good thing that I keep a copy of just about everything! :D
