So how on earth do you merge two models?

Well it depends on quite a bit of stuff: Daz or Poser, are they they same generation of model, etc. However, we were working with Genesis 3 in this case, and I've already exported Josephine and Robyn's bimbo forms into morphs that I can use in Genesis 3.

But what if you want Robyn's head on Josephine's body?

Hmmm...

First I tried going into Poser, removing Josephine's face morphs, exporting just her body, and importing that into Daz as a morph. That didn't work, because the geometry of the model has to be identical for the morph to work in Daz, which it doesn't if you are missing her head. Lol!

During this process I tracked down the counter-morphs that remove Josephine's morphs in Poser. I had sort of forgotten those. I was trying to remove them manually. Once I remembered them, I tracked them down in Daz.

So this is what I did:

1) Load Josephine

3) Remove her head morphs

4) Manually zero all of the rest of the morphs on her head

5) Export her entire body as an OBJ file

6) Convert that file from V4 base to G3 base

7) Import Josephine's new morph that just has her body and none of her head morphs.

8) Repeat the process for Robyn, but removing all of the morphs on her body and leaving only her head.

Once you've got both morphs added to G3, then just dial up both morphs and you have Robyn's head on Josephine's body. :)
