Good morning!

Last night, before I went to bed, I changed all of the passwords on all of the archives. I did this in an attempt to stop the flow of data, as I am sure that the illegal downloads would have resumed overnight. I am also sure that my account would have been suspended again before I even woke up in the morning.

I have not published the new passwords yet, and I am not going to for a few days. I am going to leave the Archive locked out for a while until I decide how to proceed, because I absolutely cannot risk losing my DropBox archive.

If you are the person who republished all of my links with their passwords, and you happen to be reading this, then you need to understand the consequences of your actions. If you keep doing this, then DropBox will permanently ban me. I will lose a ton of data if that happens. Not just the stuff from Patreon that I share. I use DropBox to backup my PC, to share certain files with my friends, and to host some stuff for my family.

If you keep stealing, then all of that will be lost. FOREVER!

All of my comics. All of the backed up files from almost a decade ago when I started making comics. Stuff that cannot be recreated. The only copy of it is on DropBox.

This is not a "harmless" crime. You are not doing the community a favor. This will cause real damage to my business, my friends, my family, and the community that you may think you are helping. My content going away forever does not serve them in the least.

Please stop!

Again, this is not a threat from me. DropBox has made it very clear that if I continue to exceed my download limits, then I will lose my account.

How about sending out the password only to people who ask in inbox since then it should give you a rough idea of who it is whenever the downloads increase alot and most people wouldn't be going in the archives every month

At bare minimum, please make sure you save all your personal stuff. I had a HDD failure some years ago with almost every picture of my dog, who's gone on to heaven now...

I think that would be a royal pain for most of you, but thank you for the suggestion! :)
