Full War Report Podcast Starts Today

This is Report 501. It is 40 pages, combat only. It was extremely busy today.

What's the big story? Ukrainian forces breached the second echelon of the Surovikin Line west of Verbove. The breach was supported by armor, artillery, and drones, creating a 3,700-meter wide gap on the 160-meter heights. Tactical gains have turned into operational success.

What's the second story? Klishchiivka and Andriivka are behind the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the fighting has moved east of the railroad tracks.

What's the bonus story? Ukraine and Russia traded massive attacks using drones and missiles. There was a massive effort by the analyst team to verify the situation.

Summary

We had planned to continue the bullet summary (surprise), but missile attack days caused late production. Try again tomorrow.

https://meduza.io/en/feature/2023/09/20/azerbaijan-s-business Aside from the fact that the Azerbaijani president got the short and triumphant war that Putin wanted to have in Ukraine, Russia's diplomatic behavior and the tone of these "press guidelines" makes me think that Putin and Erdogan spoke about something more than the Grain Deal when they met in Saki. It is just speculation on my part but Putin must have realized his relationship with Turkey is more important than the Armenians of Nagorno Karabagh. I truly did not think I would see the day in which Armenia is not a captive satellite of Russia. I am still getting my head around all the implications of this.
