This is Report 382, which is 51 pages in condensed format. This is the only update for May 10.

Important: Until further notice, we are moving to a condensed format for Situation Reports due to increasing activity in support of the looming Ukrainian offensive. The news cycle is moving too fast to do one report every 24 hours. Up to three Situation Reports will up done a day, and there may be a significant increase in flash reports. We will also do live streams if the situation becomes dynamic. Once the operational tempo slows down, we will move back to full reports.

What's the big story? Russian combat power continues to dwindle with fewer and fewer attacks.

The second story? Ukrainian drones are striking multiple targets in Russia - it was a busy day on the Russian front.

Just thought I would mention something my wife noticed about Prigozhin's coment about putin being the happy grandfather and the happy grandfather may turn out to be an a##hole. My wife's first language is Russian and she said Prigozhin used the word "mudak" which apparently is far worse than a##hole. Originally it meant a castrated pig but translated, it is more along the lines of a complete sh##thead or it sometimes refers to an old man who likes to chase younger women but is actually impotent. It apparently is extremely derogatory and when it is said, the speaker can expect to end up with a black eye or worse. My wife checked with some friends still living in the former soviet Republic to see if it still meant that and they said yes and telling that to someone's face is officially the end of any relationship.

Thank your wife for that, Roger. AI translation does not capture the full depth of meaning sometimes, and insults are particularly nuanced in every language. It is very different to imply that Putin is an old man with dementia being fed lies by his closest supporters, and a completely different thing to imply that he is a repulsive old impotent man. It looks as if Prigozhin will soon join one of two clubs: the one of all of Putin's dead enemies, or the one of his enemies who are still, inexplicably, alive, like Girkin. Those mafia-type systems are so based on mutual coverup that in some cases those who KNOW something that must absolutely be kept get to at least live a little longer.

Hey Ana! There is always a possibility there may be regional differences in the meaning of the word. My wife is from Azerbaijan, a soviet Republic until 1991 but no doubt it is extremely insulting. If prigozhin is smart, he is checking his tea and not planning on sitting on any benches in a secluded park. Like you said, paranoia, fear and isolation are always the result for these brutal tryants eventually. I agree with you completely that I hope he lives to see what is about to happen.
