Housekeeping - Setting Expecations (Patreon)

If you think we've been dealing with fog of war for the last 180+ days, it is next level right now. 

We are committed to being right - not first.

We are committed to ethics - and the Ukrainian government has appealed to journalists and analysis. We will use information outside of the public domain to inform out analysis but we will not share. If we can't point to an official report from a government agency, video, or geolocated video, even if we know that information is factual, we will not share those reports. That includes the Situation Report, the website, the map, and the podcast.

We have new Patreons - hello! Thank you. If I ever post on Facebook, Twitter, or make a TikTok that uses the words, "I know things," this is how you know an announcement is coming up - or I have detailed information we as an organization won't share. It also means we believe we will be able to share it soon (typically within a week).

Expect a lot less specifics in the Situation Report and a lot more general narratives. On really busy days, like today, we will likely not cover geopolitics, economics, and theaterwide issues outside of Ukraine due to time constraints.
