In eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian special forces identified and secured a T-72 tank that was being used as a static forward observation post and providing indirect fire.

Here is the interesting part. It was the end point of a ground line of communication. As in the old school, M*A*S*H "Hey Sparky?" ground line of communication radio connected to the tank.

Possible the T-72 was put moved to stationary duty because it looks a bit rough.
