The Podcast is Finally Coming (Patreon)

I'm so excited to announce that podcasts are less than 24 hours away (assuming the technology gods cooperate). We have everything in place for our inaugural launch on Monday. The Russia-Ukraine War Update will be hosted by Linnea Hubbard (a Patreon - say hi to Linnea in comments).

It will be based on the previous day's Situation Report, so subscribers are still first. We've had a lot of requests for an audio version and it is almost here.

If you're looking at that URL and thinking, "How did they pick that up," I can assure you, we only paid $14.16 for the year. The URL was locked by ICANN and you had to prove a "legitimate use and need" for the URL. We linked to the main website, sent a copy of a Situation Report, the intro/outro recordings for the podcast, house ads, and the landing page that is on Buzzsprout.

ICANN approved the purchase of the URL today. 

Housekeeping note - yes I know, no Situation Report last night. Dr. Mrs. Malcontent is feeling human and we were invited to a private screening of a movie premiere that a friend of ours just produced. Happy wife, happy life, and I can sum up the events of the last 24 hours right here.

The line of conflict didn't move an inch on Saturday and there were no major developments. Busier day today, and obviously we need a report or -- no podcast.
