A Russian aircraft bombed undefended Snake Island today. The strike was captured by a Bayraktar TB-2 drone flying reconnaissance.

The Russian plane flew a low-altitude approach and dropped four non-precision bombs on the empty island. The mission was likely meant to destroy equipment that the Russian military abandoned when they withdrew.

The first two bombs fell into the Black Sea near the spit on the north end of the island where the pier is located.

The third bomb struck the island.

The fourth bomb landed in the Black Sea, 200 to 300 meters south of Snake Island.
