After two videos and multiple reports, along with requests to honor Operational Security (OPSEC), we can now confirm the Ukrainian counteroffensive launched from Orikhiv.

Ukrainian forces have advanced 8 kilometers from Charivne and are now 5 kilometers from the logistics and supply hub at Russian-occupied Polohy.

The settlement of Charivne is liberated. Additionally, we can confirm the settlements of Bilohirya, Luhivske, Novopokrovka, Bahate, and Ukraniske are contested.

Ukraine launched counteroffensives in May and June which are making measurable territorial gains in Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Kharkiv Oblasts.

This includes the confirmed advance between Orikhiv and Hulyaipole, the broad advance east of Velkya Novosilka in the Donetsk Oblast, the counteroffensives northwest and north of Kherson city, and the counteroffensive along the entire western front of the Izyum axis.

Russia is making gains in Luhansk because it deployed its strategic reserve, rushed conscripts to the salient, and has drawn down defensive forces in other regions. The longer Ukrainian troops can keep Russia and its proxy forces bottled up in Luhansk, the more progress will be made along these fronts.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has moved some units from Melitopol and the Donetsk city area to shore up straining defensive lines, deployed aged T-62 tanks, and is building up defensive lines.
