September 2021 DTNS Update (Patreon)

MONTHLY DTNS UPDATE

Hey folks!

First the bad news. Some of you may have seen Sarah's post on Twitter and Medium. https://twitter.com/sarahlane/status/1431802662366765057 She is a mighty person and will get through it and our whole crew is there for her. We know you are too. Thank you.

Now brighter stuff. Experiment Week! I'm so glad the vast majority of you enjoyed our little week of trying out new things. I think we will do it again next year. My favorite email was the person who said they didn't really like any of the show but we're still really glad we did it! There were also a lot of people who liked the shows, and every show had a following.

So the question is, which ones will become actual show or part of DTNS? We're still working through all that but we'll let you know. Robb is very serious about The Tech Jawn, so bet on that. And Chris and Rod are already planning for the BBQ Tech show. More to come on the rest!

Of course September means we start to gear up fro announcements. Apple's announcements came later last year so we may not get the September announcement we became used to over the years but then again we may. Microsoft already announced its Surface announcement for September 22. More to be schedule, I'm sure.

Thanks again for being there for us. The Patreon has lost 1000 or so folks over the last five years so we really really appreciate all of you who are here for us. You have showed your support strongly enough to keep us strong too.
