August 2019 DTNS UPDATE (Patreon)

Hey folks. Welcome to the heart of summer. Thanks again for being the awesome supporter of independent tech news that you are. After 5 and a half years of this it’s always stunning to me that we still have people like you willing to support us. THANK YOU.

This month is of course the lull before the autumn storm that brings us more announcements from IFa, Apple’s usual announcements and lots more. Good on Samsung for beating the rush!

Oh and a note that I’m out for a couple weeks in mid-month as I head to WorldCon in Ireland to cover it for Sword and Laser. Irish fans send me an email to feedback@dailytechnewsshow.com and let me know if you have ideas for a meetup!
