I have seen a problem with my local paper Iowa City Press-Citizen where they have an article on the front page of the print version and buried or not at all on the website.

The USA Today has had an E-Edition of their newspaper for years. When my print edition isn't delivered I always go to that version and avoid their disjointed and over-designed website. As someone who grew up in a household that received two daily print newspapers, I feel that I am more "news savvy" than many of my peers who get all of their news from aggregator websites. They will often be frustrated or angry about something they read but when I ask them who wrote the story or what is the background of the source, they have no idea. I despise the scrolling news websites for the reasons Tom brings up plus the fact that a story from Hello Giggles being listed next to a story from the Washington Post gives the impression that all news sources are equal.
