A little more about this thing Tom's doing
It's an 11-part series of 3-minute episodes. The name isn't fully decided yet but it focuses on describing new tech fields. Natural Language Processing, Connected Urban Planning, Smart Cars etc. Big ideas.
The series is sponsored but with a couple differences to other sponsored content I do/have done:
1. There's no network. Just sponsor, production company, and distribution platform(s).
2. There's no endorsement by me. I have that in writing. I am contracted by the production company, not the sponsor.
Is this a horrible mistake? A great idea to get wider exposure for me and the show? A perfectly neutral if different way of doing things?
That's what I'm about to see. I'm trying this out to see how it works.
I seriously value your support and so am very interested in your thoughts on this. Obviously we'll have to wait to see it when it's released (as will I) to really know what we think but any questions you have ask them and I'll tell you what I know.
Thanks for being the kind of audience that cares and understands.
You all rock.
Tom
